March 17, 2020 at 12:15 amDear Brothers and Sisters, I know that Grandparents mean the world to us but right now is not the time to visit. My husband’s parents who are currently in Arizona right now are planning a spring break to visit us in mid April. We are currently in Canada and they have been to Mexico and now the USA. I have been watching the news carefully and I don’t think that it is a good idea right now. I think that we should listen to our government and follow their advice. Our city’s schools are closed and we have been asked to only interact with the people who are living in the same house as us. Libraries are closed, recreational areas are closed, the zoo is closed, and soon theatres will close. Restaurants will provide pick-up only and only essential services like hospitals and grocery stores will be open. This is serious but my in-laws just don’t understand and neither does my husband. Please pray for me to be as understanding as possible and to not lose my temper on this issue. Please let God intervene and send them home to Saskatchewan before April even begins. Our government has asked all of us to return back home to Canada but my in-laws are continuing to enjoy their vacation. Please Heavenly Father give them wisdom to do what is right and return to their home in Saskatchewan before the cases in Arizona start to spike. It would be a great tragedy if they didn’t heed the government’s warnings. Both of them are over 65 years of age. Please pray for my in-laws to return home now and not wait for another month to go by. The information is changing not just daily but hourly. It would be awful if they got stuck in the USA. Thank you for your prayers, In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen. Tracey 😔

March 17, 2020 at 12:50 amDear Lord, we thank You for giving us our daily bread one day at a time. Your Word promises that Your loving kindnesses are new every morning and reminds us that worry profits nothing but faith in You will gain us everything. Thank You also for giving us the wisdom to discern between useless fear and the kind of fear that helps us to wisely prepare. Noah prepared wisely based on Your command for him. Help this sister to clearly hear from You in this situation rather than fall victim to fear born of the enemy to create a rift in her family. Like wise help her husband and in laws to act rashly and unselfishly and to listen to the voice of wisdom. In Jesus Name. Amen.

March 18, 2020 at 11:40 amStanding in agreement with these prayers, Lord. Now is the time for each one of us, all of us, to put our countrymen ahead of our own personal interests. Help these grandparents to do their part and return home, not waiting, and not going to visit this family. I know it’s hard.
I have a trip planned for next week to visit my grandchildren; today I will be cancelling all my reservations and stay home. It hurts, and, it’s necessary to do what I can do. Give each of us the courage, Lord, to do what is best. Blessings, gail
