January 2, 2024 at 7:40 amMy 2 grandsons that we’ve raised since they were 2 & 3, are now in their 1st year of college. They are attending a Christian college but have still managed to get in with a wrong crowd and are making poor choices. . My heart is breaking, but I know God has promised that if we train them up in the way they should go, they will not depart.

January 2, 2024 at 7:45 amDear Abba Father, please surround khopmisc’s grandsons with godly friends who will influence them to grow closer in their love for You. May they recognize their poor choices will lead them to a place they do not want to be and may they make the necessary changes. Give khopmisc peace as my sibling continues in prayer for these precious young men. I pray this in Jesus’ Mighty Name!

January 2, 2024 at 7:55 amDearest khopmisc; Tough love is needed! How else are they going to learn? If you bail them out of trouble, you will make them useless. God says; Jeremiah 1:12 Then said Jehovah unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I watch over my word to perform it. Proverbs 29:17 17 Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 Praying🙏🏻

January 2, 2024 at 8:55 amI feel your angst over your grandsons. I have a granddaughter and grandson who are also choosing to live apart from God. Both were raised in Christian homes; both have professed faith in Christ, but now both are living lives outside of the will of God. As I pray for you and your grandsons, I ask that you pray for Caleb (who turned 23 today) and Emily; pray that God will get their attention; ask Holy Spirit to convict them of sin, convince them of judgment and draw them back into fellowship with Jesus. That is what I’m praying for your two grandsons.
