llabeau32Prayers: 0Requests: 1
April 18, 2022 at 3:13 pmPrayers and thanks to the Hardin’s, Sarah, Mike, and the rest of the DAB family that make this whole global community and campfire work 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I surrendered my will and my life over to the care of God in 2013 even though I didn’t believe in Him. I thought that even if He was real, He didn’t love me as evidenced by my life’s journey. I blamed God for everything bad that happened in my life. And I credited myself for all the good stuff (selfish and self-centered to the core!) I finally got to know Him through the Daily Audio Bible in 2017. In 2019, I was honored and humbled to be baptized in the Jordan River by Brian himself. To say my life has been blessed since then would be an understatement. I have struggled with drugs and alcohol since I was 13 and almost died three weeks before my 50th birthday due to my addiction. I finally became desperate enough to give God a chance, and boy was He happy to hear from me! Turns out, God put some very special people in my life hoping that I would becoming willing to listen, and I finally did. I do. And I will for the rest of my life. I start my day with a hot cup of coffee and the Daily Audio Bible. It truly centers me. Puts my life in perspective. Reminds me that I have a responsibility in life to show love, tolerance, kindness, and patience to everyone I encounter. Every day. No matter what. It’s so simple. God is love, and God lives within me. Therefore, I am love. I was a truly hopeless alcoholic who could not imagine life without a drink. Now, I cannot imagine life without God. What a gift! What a miracle! I am so grateful to God for guiding me to the Daily Audio Bible and keeping the doors wide open for me to enter when I was ready. Brian, I am so truly grateful to you for keeping the DAB going, no matter what is happening in your life, family, country, and planet. I cannot imagine my world without you in it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for me. I pray that some day I will be able to journey again to the Holy Land with you and a group of DAB’ers. I have such fond memories of my trip and of the people I met. Literally changed my life. Thank you.

April 18, 2022 at 7:34 pmIIabeau32 Your post is very encouraging and moved me to tears. I appreciate you sharing your experience, your highs and lows; isn’t it true that we all have different seasons in our lives? I know that every human element on planet earth deal with gasping jaws of uncertainty; And the only antidote to this poisonous threat is drawing close to God. It is only in His Presence that we can face uncertainty with Perfect peace. Keep on building snd walking with the lord. HE is all sufficient. Thanks and May God steady your feet snd bless you ✝️🙏 Gods Chosen OneGA
