Grieving the loss of my grandma

My grandma passed away about a month ago and she was really my closest friend and prayer warrior. I could rely on her for anything. She passed away suddenly so I feel like I missed out on the opportunity to take time and cherish and love on her before she is passed. I returned to work about a week after she passed and with the stress of my job and her passing I feel like I’m in a really difficult situation right now. I would really appreciate your prayers. thank you!
October 31, 2019 at 11:01 amStanding in agreement with these prayers for wholeeana. Lord, You know grief intimately and it’s just tough when the person we love so deeply passes. We pray for healing, encouragement and peace for wholeeana. It sounds like you had a great relationship; I’m certain she knew you loved her. Find a way, or ways to honor her. Keep her memory alive by talking about her. Find ways to become the best of what you saw in her.
wholeeana – I loved my mother in law! She was a godly woman who over the 20+ years that I knew her, only once said something that hurt my feelings. Mostly she was encouraging and very kind to me. She had our children call her “Grandmaman”. After she passed and our grandchildren came along, I asked to be called “Grandmaman” in honor of her and her love. A couple of weeks ago, my sweet daughter in law sent me a video of her youngest who was saying in a very whiney tone, “See Grandmaman!” Here’s to you, Mom! ~gail/Grandmaman

O Lord, what a wonderful testimony to wholeeana’s grandma and their relationship. Yes, Lord and perhaps for such a time as this, the mantle has been passed. Praise Your Name!
October 31, 2019 at 10:00 pmI know how you are feeling. I’ve been through the loss of two grandmothers. I pray that the Lord of all comfort comfort you and help you to come out of your grief. I pray also that your grandma be raised from the dead.
November 1, 2019 at 12:16 pmHeavenly Father, I stand beside this child in seeking your comfort and peace in their grief. Father, I pray that you would guide this child out of the valley of grief and regret and into the pathway that will manifest gratitude for the life of this saint. Father. Lord God, let the next phase of your child’s life be a love offering on your altar, a manifestation of their labors that will demonstrate their excellence. I pray that they will withhold nothing that will glorify you. Let this offering on your altar be the very best of the gifts you have given them. You, Father, alone can manifest the fulfillment of these intercessory prayers. Come, Lord Jesus!
