June 8, 2022 at 7:54 amPlease pray for my husband Steve. He had knee surgery 6 months ago and is still experiencing terrible pain and is now addicted to opioids. He has a history of addictions so he really should have never taken anything to begin with. He is also addicted to sleep medication. He has finally admitted he has a problem and is now ready to seek professional help to get off of all Meds. Please pray that he finds the right rehab, that his company has an Employment Assistance Program that can financially help us pay for that (it will be probably 30k), that me and the kids (3 Teenagers) can learn to trust him again and understand proper boundaries, that he either gets healed or learns how to deal with the pain in a better way and that our family heals as well. Last September my 13 year old was so discouraged she tried to overdose on antidepressants. My kids are hurting and the cycle of addiction needs to stop. Thank you!

Praying🙏🏻 Show Steve how to relieve his pain without using a substance to do so. June 8, 2022 at 11:42 amBeloved sister njacques70, joining with the DAB family in prayer for your husbands deliverance. Heavenly Father, thank You for the fact that You are already at work in Steve’s heart. It’s a good thing that he sees his need to seek help. That’s the first step to recovery, admitting that you have a problem that’s Bigger! than you can conqueror on your own. It’s a Big! step, we are thankful that he’s not in denial. Gracious loving Father, help Steve to take the next steps forward towards getting free, and help him to break this cycle of addiction. Give Steve faith Father, to believe that You can deliver him once and for all. Father, give Steve a real hunger for Your WORD. Help him to see his need to renew his mind to the truths that it contains. Help him to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of who You have made him to be. LORD, be with his family, and bring them all the support that they will be needing as Steve travels this road to recovery and freedom. Restore the brokenness of this family Father, give them double for their trouble.
We ask, in JESUS NAME. Amen! 💓
