Something to ponder. 🔷In my daily devotional, today, I read about how God feels about healing. In (1 Cor. 6:20) it reads: “ for your bought with a price, therefore, glorify✨God in your body, and in your spirit, which are Gods.” Did you notice God talks about healing before he talks about salvation? He says,” “Glorify✨God, in your body, and in your spirit.” — healing was not a divine afterthought. It was instituted before the new birth. 🔷 In the book of Isaiah chapter 53, verses 4 through 5; verse 4, we read: “ surely He hath, [the word hath being past tense]; borne our griefs [or sicknesses], and carried our sorrows [or pains]: yet we did a steam, Him, stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. Verse five in Isaiah 53 goes on to say that with His stripes we are healed. 🔷Healing is revealed in verse 4 and salvation in verse 5. Does that mean healing is more important? No, but God knew the body of CHRIST would have more trouble believing for healing, perhaps that’s why he put it first. 🔷JESUS bore stripes on his back before he hung on the cross. ✝️ He paid the price for our physical healing before he paid the price for our new birth. 🔷 Healing isn’t more important, but God wants us to know it is equally as important to Him as salvation. God wants us to have both salvation and healing, and we receive both the same way — by faith.🔷 Father, I believe the work of the Savior is complete. JESUS paid the price so I could not only be saved, but healed as well. According to these truths, I believe I live free of sickness and disease. And I am healed, and I am made well, and I am whole.
