This is Luke Warm… The last time I called I was looking at a new job, and asking for prayers. Well in the process of trying to get that job , I lost my first job and the opportunity to get the other job. I waited for the second job to start for over 2 weeks before they told me I didn’t get it. I live paycheck to paycheck and that put me in a very tight spot. I now have another job however it doesn’t pay near what I was getting. Now I could loose my apartment, I don’t know how we will pay utilities or our vehicle payment much less the insurance on it. I can’t seem to find anyone who can or will help me . The few agencies that might help are only open while I am at work. I am trying to turst God but my luke warm faith is really stuggling to hold on here. I have a disabled wife who has been turned down for SSI yet cannot work. 4 kids of my own and another kid who lives with us. That is alot of people depending on me. I am at wits end and I don’t know what to do. I need prayers.

We are desperate for You. Allow Your Peace to flow into luke.warm today knowing that You have heard his prayer. In the midst of this storm, O Lord, we Praise You! Thank You. WE love You.
November 4, 2019 at 8:51 amLuke Warm – Not sure how I stumbled on this prayer request, it was one of those pure GOD works, but He did, and I read your plee. You know Jesus’s brother once said something that has always stuck with me personally. It’s such a powerful simple statement. “If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?”
I almost laughed at it, because it’s such a powerful statement, and it seems at times the ones who claim to be such good “Christ Like” people don’t act this way. I am guilty of this myself. But when I hear a prayer like yours I always think on James 2: 15-16. But you know what, GOD is your true Dad, He feeds the birds of the air, how much more are you? He knows what you need. He is much better at giving to you, then anyone could ever be. So we should and we will go to HIM first in prayer to help, but we will also stand with you as a child of HIS for you.

November 4, 2019 at 11:16 amStanding in agreement with these prayers for our brother, Luke, most especially for their financial situation. Lord, we ask for him that You provide him with a good job that helps him take care of all the people in his family. You know he wants to work and is looking for answers. Give him wisdom to know what is his next right step. And we praise You for answering this prayer! Raise up the Body of Christ where he lives to come around, encourage and support him during this time. May he not have to move, according to Your will. ~gail

I am hoping you have a local fellowship you belong to that can help. Nothing like having brothers and sisters close by in whom we are in relationship. Churches fellowships usually have a benevolence ministry for such a time as this.
Also, you may want to consider changing your name to something like “more than a conqueror”. Speak over yourself how God sees you.Praying for you to stand firm in the Lord by His grace, during this difficult time.
November 4, 2019 at 7:31 pmLuke Warm, I have not lost a job. But. I do fret about many financial things. As many people have pointed out, we need to depend on the Lord. Our Father will watch after us and knows our wants and needs. I struggle with this on a daily basis. Why? I have no idea. But you are not alone. Give praise and thanks to the Lord and I will be praying for clarity and inner peace.

November 5, 2019 at 10:31 amContinuing to pray for financial help in this time of need, Luke. As you wait upon the Lord, this is a good time to evaluate what expenses are necessary to sustain life, and which are optional, in order to reduce your expenses as much as possible. Also consider if there is any way possible to bring in even a little more income. Are the other people in your family able to contribute to the family income? Lord, help Luke get past the tipping point of Not Enough Money, to Enough. ~gail
November 10, 2019 at 8:19 amLord God, Intervene on behalf of this brother and work everything out. So he will have a good paying job with good benefits. Father God let him know you won’t withhold no good thing from him and you got all his needs taken care of. Lord, I thank you that you have made us the head and not the tail. The lender and not the borrower. And to owe no man nothing but to love him. May your favor and blessings come upon this brother in such a mighty way and over take him. November 10, 2019 at 8:38 amYou are not alone. The holy spirit is inside of you. Be calm and trust in it! Once God sees you are completely at rest and trust him you will see his amazing work begin. Things might even get worse but you must remain faithful to the Lord and trust that he will not let your family down. Follow Dave Ramseys baby steps to get you started on your way to financial freedom. God called on me today to write this. I have never been on this prayer wall before. Praying for you……….
