Abba Father! How You love Junior! Thank You for his heart to help his friend. Thank You for his recognition that prayer is the answer for his friend. Lord, we lift him up to continue to pray and persist; to not be discouraged by what he sees but to be given a vision of what You are doing. Help him to see into the eternal and that You are working. In Jesus’ Name!

Holy Spirit Come, and speak wisdom to this man who wants to help his friend who has become a slave to sin and self. Guard his heart and mind from the lies of the enemy. Help him to remember the insidious thought process and the obsession to use when placed in close proximity with a using addict and your drug of choice. I pray he does not do this without same sex support of another recovering addict who has been clean a good long time, and spiritually fit to withstand the wiles of the enemy and the subtle lure of addiction. Brother, this is not something that you should do alone, in Jesus Name get some backup in the natural that knows when it’s time to beat feet and get out of Dodge, when Miss. Kitty wants to stay for one more. In Jesus Name, I pray for a hedge of protection to guard your heart, mind and the addict in you.
