Father in heaven, I pray for Richard to be able to finish his taxes accurately and well. May he have your peace. Give him favor with the auditor. Help him get a system so he can do better next year. Please help the government have mercy. The system is terrible.. I look at it every year even though I don’t make enough to pay taxes. It’s terrible. I pray Richard could find a reliable person to do his taxes for him next year. I pray You will help him set up guidelines that are reasonable for him in spending. Bless him where ever he needs it . Oh dear Father in heaven, I can sense the anguish that Richard has over money issues. I understand this so well because my own dear husband suffered with this for many years of our marriage. Dear richard, we can all suffer from paralysis when we are faced with a fear that is held on to us for so long. I pray in the name of jesus, that you would be released from this fear and that you remember that God has given you a sound mind and that he alone is your provider, and trust him for all provisions. I pray that God would set you free from the enemy’s lies, whatever they are. He may be whispering that you’re incompetent in handling money, or as you wrote incapable, but those are complete lies from the enemy! You may have been poor at handling money in the past, but today and these taxes and everyday forward are new days, where you have God’s mercies fresh every morning & He can guide you in everything. Trust in him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. And, of course, as you said Richard, you can indeed do all things through Christ who strengthens you. The Lord God is with you he will never leave you nor forsake you . He will get you through this and he will help you take the first steps & the rest to finish this task on time.

Dear Lord give your peace to Richard and give him your strength. Help him have clear thinking and the ability to get started and then the feeling that this is not so bad and he absolutely can do it and finish it. Help it to feel effortless Lord because you are helping him and providing wisdom. Please give him favor with all IRS people concerned and when he finishes this help him to remember that he got through it with You, and he can do it again and again.
