Please pray that our dear Lord shows me, and provides a way to a home. I am divorced after 24 years. While married, I went to college part time, which took 12years, graduating magna cum laude.Upon graduating, I was offered a job in public relations. My children were 5 and 2 years old. My husband had a good job in the car industry, and although a sacrifice financially, we decided I should stay home and raise the children, therefore, stopping any job opportunities or career in my industry. I loved guiding our children tending to the household responsibilities and supporting my husband in his upward climb with his career. I thought he and I would grow old together, surrounded by our children and grandchildren. Little did we know those “overtime “ hours were being spent in the arms of a much younger co-worker, with whom he is still with, however not married to and with whom I encounter at every family gathering. We divorced after trying counseling and prayer. Twenty four years done. Times spent in the presence of children and grandchildren include”her,” a bitter pill I had to swallow, but have made peace with. We are cordial and I can even call her by name rather than the moniker I had made for her. Having dedicated my life to our family, I now, at 64, have no career track record nor decent paying job. I work as a substitute teacher clearing $70 per day. I have rented a string of apartments where I findI am the oldest resident. Fellow renters come loudly home at bar closing noisy each night. They are20s and early 30s, and living their lives as such. Please, DAB family, I am a long time listener, a sometime caller, and a daily prater warrior. Please pray with me that Our Dear Lord provide a housing opportunity for me within my budget. A safe little home where I can invite my family over to dinner, and share our lives.
