Husband Kelvin's Salvation

    We’ve been married for almost 39 years. I came to Jesus about 36 years ago and have been praying for my husband’s salvation. Thankfully, many years ago he decided to join me at church as a New Years Resolution and seems to enjoy being there and learning, but if I ask if he believes in Jesus he still says “I don’t know” and doesn’t want to even pray to ask God to reveal himself and help him believe. Something holds him back and I hope you will join me in praying against what ever is locking up his heart and open his eyes to God’s truth and then the desire to repent, and then claim it. Thank you. It has caused some confusion in our 6 children’s faith. Some are walking with Him and some are not. And I pray for them also and the confusion of the Enemy to be lifted and Jesus’s light to permeate our family.

    Dear Lord,
    Please let this year be a year of break through and understanding that in this world we are just like the grass, but that we have life eternal in you. Lord help him have a need for you, Lord help there be situations where he can see the beauty of being in relationship with you, Lord help him want what he sees others have in you. Please break the chains of evil that stop him taking that step, Lord help him see a path that you have set and begin walking it. Lord may this year change him may it bring about more questions and may he seek you for the answers. Amen

    Oh Heavenly Father, we cry out to you on Kelvin’s behalf. Lord only You know what is holding him back from accepting Jesus as his Lord. We pray that you use supernatural power to bring him to his knees to cry out to you! Continue to give his wife the grace to walk the walk you have for her. In Jesus name. Amen

    Father, thank You for Kelvin and his wife’s request here. I ask You to do a mighty work in his heart. Holy Spirit speak to him, overwhelm him with Your love. Give him the knowledge of the truth. May he step out in faith and trust you with the faith of a child. Give him that faith. Open his eyes. Open his ears. Open his heart to You Jesus. Let him hold nothing back. Light that fire in him. Let him be fearful of nothing and excited about Who You are and who he is in You! Let him receive You as his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Let him receive the new life You offer him. Let his wife see it and know that You have done this. Let their lives and their family be changed forever. Bring all their children into a close relationship with You. May Kelvin lead their family as He follows You. He is a mighty man of God! Thank You for answering prayer! It is amazing!! Let his wife not worry, but see and believe what You’ve done. Bless this family and do great things to reach the world through them. Give them unity in serving You. Do it for Your glory, their good and the good of MANY!!! YES!! I love it when You inspire me to pray BIG prayers! Keep on doing it, Lord. I want Your vision. I want Your heart. I have the mind of Christ. I have to keep reminding myself of that. Thank You for reminding me and always encouraging me so I can encourage others. I pray all this in Jesus’ Name. Amen and Amen!
