Be encouraged Sister, God sees, and hears your prayers. Your experience sound so very familiar to mine. I was a hard core drinker for many years. To give you the short version, one day when I had more than I should, God in His mercy broke into my drunkenness and showed me my son who was about 10 or 12 at the time. The LORD let me know that because of what I was doing, ( the example I was setting) before him was wrong. And that because of my thoughtlessness, and selfish, actions, there stood a good chance of it affecting his life down the road, and not in a good way either. I was convicted to the oomph! degree when this happened. You see, God had previously delivered me from a 14 year alcohol addiction, but I fell under the enemies spell and like the dog who returns to his own vomit I went back to my old ways for an additional 3 years. I was in a really bad place. I had fallen off the o’l wagon, and I was on the verge of not only destroying myself, but my marriage too, and possibly doing irrepealable damage to my son too’ boot! My prayer for you is that God in His same generous fashion, would break through your husbands clouded thinking, and (arrest him) by showing him his family — you and your children. And that he would come under great! conviction,– powerful conviction from the Holy Ghost that would drive him to his knees in repentance. Sister, if God could do it for me, and save me, and set me free from years of addiction, I know He will do it for your husband. Father, thank You that it’s the goodness of God which leads one to repentance. We thank You for Your goodness! And that it’s leading our sisters husband to You…

Psalm 119:18, Isaiah 40:29-30 Oh Lord, we thank You for life, but often times the cares of this world cause us to turn away from You and turn to drugs, alcohol and sexual immorality. But from today, we speak life over every alcoholic; we declare that they shall not die, but they will live and declare the works of the Lord. By Your divine power, I pray that every alcoholic will not see strange occurrences, but they shall be released from the schemes of the enemy and see that which is good and pure. Let their hearts utter agreeable and Godly things that come from You. Amen. Galatians 5:21 Heavenly Father, I pray for every alcoholic that their lives shall be recovered, in Jesus’ Name. We declare and stand against the spirit of torment that is operating in their lives, tempting them to live a life of alcoholism. Father, I plead on their behalf because Your Word says, “envy, drunkenness, orgies and things like these; those who do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God”. We ask for repentant hearts so that they shall see the Kingdom of God. Amen.
