July 19, 2022 at 12:32 pmDear bcameron, So glad you posted your desire to be a Christian today! It is very easy to become one of Jesus’ followers. All you need to do is say a simple prayer asking God to forgive all your sins, and He will without any hesitation. Then let Him know you want to turn away from those sins and try your best not to do them again, and He will help you to keep trying (remember, we aren’t perfect). But the most important thing is to let God know you believe in Jesus Christ, His One and Only Son. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life”. To help you on your journey with Christ, find other Christians in a Bible-focused church. To deepen your walk with Jesus, read the Bible (the gospel of John is a wonderful starting point). Praying for you, dear sibling!🙏🙏🙏

July 19, 2022 at 2:19 pmAmen! Beloved Bcameron, along with (St. JOHN 3:16), In the book of (ROMANS 10:9-10) the Bible makes it clear about how to become saved. 9. “that if you confess with your mouth the LORD JESUS and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10. For with the heart one believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Verse 13 of (ROMAN’S 10) says: “For whosoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
BLESSINGS! in the name of the LORD. Praying you don’t hesitate in making your decision for CHRIST. For no one is promised tomorrow. 💓

That you died on the cross, and rose again. Forgive me of all my sins, come into my heart, and be my Lord and saviour, from this day forward I choose to follow you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen”

July 22, 2022 at 3:22 ambcameron1177, I listened to the July 26th. podcast today and the section in the book of ROMANS 3: 9-31, in the New Living Translation really spoke to me and it reminded me of you. So I thought I’d share it with you in the hopes that it will open your understanding to what it means to be saved.
The heading reads: ALL PEOPLE ARE SINNERS
This is the Apostle Paul speaking to the ROMANS and to us also.
9. Well then, should we conclude that we Jews are better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin. 10. As the Scripture says, “No one is righteous not even one, 11. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God,
12. All have turned away; all have become useless, No one does good, not a single one.” 13. “Their
talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave. Their tongues are filled with lies,” Snake venom drips
from their lips.” 14. “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” 15. “they rush to commit murder. 16. Destruction and misery always follow them. 17. They don’t know where to find peace.”
18. “They have no fear of God at all.”
19. Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for it’s purpose is to keep people from
having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God. 20. For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.CHRIST TOOK OUR PUNISHMENT
21. But now God has shown us a way to be made right with Him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. 22. We are made right
with God by placing our faith in JESUS CHRIST. And this is true for every one who believes, no matter
who we are. 23. For every one has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24. Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight. He did this through CHRIST JESUS when He freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25. For God presented JESUS as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that JESUS sacrificed His life, shedding His blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fare when He held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26. for He was looking ahead and including them in what He would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate His righteousness, for He Himself is fair and just, and He makes sinners right in His sight when they believe in JESUS. 27. Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on obeying the law. It is based on faith.
28. So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law. 29. After all, is God the God of the Jews only? Isn’t He also the God of the Gentiles? Of course He is. 30. There is only one God, and He makes people right with Himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. 31. Well then, if we emphasize faith, dose this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In
fact, only when we have faith do we fully fulfill the law.EPHESIANS 2:8 says:
8. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Praying you are BLESSED! in your faith walk with the LORD. ❤

Thank you for being brave and making your desire to become a Christian known to this community.I suggest the following to help you understand the gift of freedom and eternal life you can have in Christ when you repent and surrender your life to Him: 1. Keep listening to the Daily Audio Bible. Never stop. The Word of God is always fresh. It is like fresh bread. It is the living Word. It is Truth. It is God communicating with us through His written Word. 2. Take a look at Living Waters University website. There are many testimonies of people being led to Christ. Some may even remind you of you. I am sure the content on this site will help you understand salvation. If you go to Fully Free Films.com you will also find helpful information. 3. Order the discipleship book Freedom in Christ by Neil T. Anderson and Steve Goss. It is an excellent next step to help you get grounded in your faith. I am going through it for the third time and this time with several members of my family. 4. Ask the Lord to connect you with a local fellowship of believers where you can grow and serve together with them in person. Start visiting a few houses of worship. You will know when you have arrived where God wants you to be. Trust Him. If the fellowship has a problem with Jesus being a member of he Godhead, walk away. God warms us about this in the Bible. [ See 1 John 4:3 ]
As you listen to or read the Bible, you may want to jot down what stands out to you. This is one way the Lord will illuminate His word to you.
Stay connected to the community and be blessed bcameron! -
