April 20, 2024 at 6:01 pmMy dad passed away unexpectedly 2 months ago and I have never felt pain like this. I am 52 and feel gutted. I worry about my step mom Patricia who was married to him for 38yrs and is now living alone. She lives 2 1/2 hrs from me so I can’t check on her in person very easily but she does have a good support system at church. My dad was a Christian so I know he is with Jesus and I am grateful for that. I just miss hearing his voice, him making me laugh or calling him for advice. I find myself crying almost everyday and I am having a hard time dealing with this. Please pray for my step mom and myself as we trust in the Lord living without my dad. Joy

April 20, 2024 at 6:24 pmDear Abba Father, Joychristine is hurting as I know You are fully aware of (Psalm 139:17-18 “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.”) Please lessen the terrible grief and replace it with a closer relationship with You! May both Joy Christine and her mom find You to be more than enough in their time of loss! Please bless JoyChristine with Your joy found in Christ Who is coming back soon! I pray this in Jesus’ Mighty and Healing Name!

April 20, 2024 at 7:39 pmDear Sibling Joychristine1 I’m sorry about the loss of your dad. My condolences. Praying in agreement with the response of Resting In His Grace’s prayer to your petition. Praying that you will find encouragement in the words of psalm 46:1-3; Proverbs 3:5-6, and Phillipians 4:6-7. Meditate and pray over these words for your peace and comfort. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨I encourage you to be calling your stepmom more often since you live far away from her. A phone call will help heal and bring you closer!! May God comfort, heal, strengthen and minimize your grieving rime. Amen 🙌Reflect on the fun things and times you had with your dad and give thanks for that. 🥰Time is a healer of wounds. I pray that as the days go by, your 🩸 will cease and you will be able to know that your dad’s passing is temporary as you will see him again in heaven. Peace and God bless you. Shalom 🥰🙌🙏

April 20, 2024 at 9:26 pmJoychristine, grief is so hard, give yourself grace and patience. Father I lift up this woman to You. Provide comfort and peace in this season of grieving. Help her to find joy in the pieces of her dad that are still with her even though he is physically gone. Fill the voids and gaps that she is now feeling with peace, joy, and comfort as she navigates a new road. Thank You Jesus that You are always holding us by the right hand. In Jesus Name, Amen.

April 21, 2024 at 12:24 am▪️ 😭 💔 🙏🏼 I will be praying for you JoyChristine and also for your step Mom. I’m sorry for the loss of your dear Father. Give yourself permission to grieve his passing without limits. ▪️ No matter how long it takes, no matter how hard you cry, no matter how deep the sorrow in your heart, 💔 no matter what anyone else thinks or says, this is your grief for your Father. You love him greatly, therefore you will grieve greatly. When the process of grieving is held back, held in, kept silent or cut short, it will become unresolved, complicated grief and be much worse. ▪️ I pray that you will work through this grief in an honest and healthy manor and that you will feel the nearness of Jesus. Let Him hold you in his loving arms. 🙏🏼 Only Christ can heal our brokenness. ▪️ With sympathy from a fellow DABber – love ❤️🩹 GodsgalMN 🙏🏼

April 21, 2024 at 2:07 amMy Beloved Joy; In times of great sorrow, when tears seem endless, and feel isolated, yet your suffering has a purpose. Experiencing sadness and tears, is a natural part of life, especially when your dad has graduated. King David, The Apostle Peter, and even King Jesus, faced profound grief. I am praying that this words bring a comfort from the Holy Spirit because HE empathizes with your pain. It is part of HIS character. HE is your comforter. HE promises lasting hope and comfort. Reminding you that your tears are only for a moment. HE will wipe them away! Psalm 56:8 You keep track of all Joy’s sorrows. You have collected all Joy’s tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. The tears you shed are not in vain. He sees each one, and HE holds them close to HIS heart. He knows the depth of your love, and the anguish you feel in your grief. However, HE wants you to know that there’s always hope in the horizon. Your tears, will not fall for ever. The sun 🌞 surely will rise again, and with it a new day will dawn! Just as the earth springs forth new life after the dark of winter, your heart will heal and find joy once more. Jesus is always with you in this sorrow, and will never leave your side. Lean on Him, and let His strength carry you through, this difficult time. Praying for Patricia and i am sending much love your way! 🙏🏻🕊️❤️
