Jesus, You have compassionate understanding for the heart of Your child who in desperation has done what was needed to make ends meet. Thank you that Your child has the heart and passion to serve You. Our enemy with his silver tongue speaks lies to lure us down a bad path. Father, I pray that You provide a path of prosperity to Your child according to Your perfect will, a job that will bring You glory in utilizing the gifts You have given to Your child. You are the God of abundance, of grace, of miracles. We pray in Jesus’ name.

Lord, open the eyes of this mother and eliminate any temptation to sin! Grant her a new heart to rely on You to bring the crumbs of Elijah to her table! Give her the courage to seek assistance from local food banks, homeless shelters, churches, and other assistance! Bring a determination to her heart that she will not return to an easy fix that poisons her and her children! Give her a new heart and renewed strength that prompts her to focus on applying for work. Steel her determination to never give up! We thank you for your goodness and mercy to bless this family with a mother who models faith and courage to her children in this time of need. Steel her determination to find a way where there is no way! Amen
