Pray over this person who is struggling to be free from porn. Jesus help us to look to you for the hope and love in our hearts! I declare freedom from depression, loneliness, and pornography. We know it is a daily battle of body and doing what is right. May you provide a close person to help feel encouragement and worth. Remember us that you gave us a purpose on the day that we were born. May we walk in freedom with you, Jesus, because you do not keep record of wrong as long we ask forgiveness. We thank you, Lord, for being our heavenly father when no one is around. May we run to you even one little thought or image. We want to be in your arms, Jesus. Jesus name, Amen.

Brother don’t let the enemy control you.. like any addiction you need to substitute your action from porn to another distraction… rather than turning on porn … turn on Dr Doug Weiss who assists people into poem recovery… it’s as simple as turning the switch… God bless your efforts🙏

Hi, you’re not alone, so don’t despair. I found a really helpful podcast for people like us. It’s called ‘Pure Sex radio’. It’s run by a Christian guy who had real problems with pornography and now helps others.

I, too, am alone and have been for many years; I know what you mean when speaking of loneliness and depression resulting from being alone. Scripture tells us that if we are unable to control our fleshly lusts we should marry, however, if we have been given the gift then we should not marry; God tells us that being single is preferable for His purposes but we should marry if we are unable to control ourselves. I have been involved with someone for most of my life, yet a catalyst for my return to the Lord was the end of a relationship and I have been single since that time. I have been praying for a spouse, a God honoring relationship, for many years and for whatever reason He has not provided that to date. It is indeed a struggle, an incredibly difficult one.

Did you know that studies of the brain, of people watching pornography and people doing drugs, indicate the same brain patterns? I forget which drugs, but I do remember that the drug mentioned was one of the more addictive ones. For some reason watching pornography is like a strong drug addiction, it results in the same brain patterns. This is likely to be one of the most difficult things in all of life to overcome.

Take heart, my friend in Christ, for He has overcome and forgives us ALL our sins as we confess them unto Him. It’s clear that you agree with God that this is wrong, and therefor He tells us in scripture that it is no longer you that sin in this way but rather it is sin living within you. Take comfort in His promise to forgive us, in His promise to complete the work He has begun in us, as there is no longer condemnation for those in Christ. Be encouraged to keep fighting, to not surrender, to not stop walking with God as there IS a difference between walking in / practicing sin and struggling with it. We practice / walk in paths of righteousness, and we struggle with sin the whole way; if not this one then another. For some it’s greed, for others it’s selfishness, for others it’s theft or violence, or unforgiveness, pride, apathy, the list just goes on and on and it will be something else when this one is conquered. Take heart, do not be discouraged, do not stop fighting as it is the Lord who fights for us and our righteousness is NOT our own.

“Do not fear, I am with you. Do not be dismayed, I am your God. I will help you. I will strengthen you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you, may He strengthen and encourage you, may He lift you up onto a wide place and give you His rest, may He lift your chin and comfort you, may He send someone into your life according to His good, perfect and pleasing will, may He protect and provide for your every need accoding to the riches of His grace in Christ, Jesus, in who’s name I pray for you.
