I’m stepping out in faith

    I think God is calling me to something, so I’m just going to introduce myself and it to you as He is introducing it to me. My name is Angie. My 6th Birthday in Christ is in January 21, Praise Jesus, after 42 years of being born into Mormonism, I found Jesus. Last year I discovered DAB through a very dear friend, never underestimate the power of sharing. This year I got intentional about staying with it all year and about by March God put it on my heart to go through the prayers as well, now by Christmas I’m going through the prayer wall. I have yet to call in only because I’m a bit of a grabber, and excited for this platform. I’m going to start a daily prayer. Don’t know for what, or what it will look like, but it is an exercise of a child learning to walk in obedience and learn to hear her Father and see how He created her to be. So here is getting to each other. Father God, we just simply thank you. Right now for me, you are to big for words. Teach us all that we are unique, and teach us are uniqueness. Because it is so fun to be who you made us to be. Happy birthday Jesus. We love you

    Our Father, the Living Word of God, Your Perfect Will, not our will,
    like my sister in Christ, Angie, indeed knows, by Your Faith, and her faith, growing, the Holy Spirit Teaching, Living inside us, Lighting the Way forward into the destiny You framed our Lives in, seeking You believing, knowing, Father, “All is Well.”

    Father Thank You for Your Mercy, this day.
    Father Praise You and THANK YOU for my sister in Christ, Angie.
    The wonders shall not cease my sister.
    Thank You, Father, that we are connected in the body of Christ, today.
    Angie, my heart bursts with Joy, overflowing indeed, knowing You are called according to His purpose, knowing, believing, whose you are, Angie, a child of the Most High God.

    In all ways, Father, we seek You, Finding You, in every moment we ask You into with us, Finding ALL You promised, in the Living Word, the Son of God, Our Savior,

    Hi Angie! I am SO happy to read your post here and hear all your good news!! WHOO HOO!!! I am CELEBRATING with you, sister!! RIGHT ON!!! I am SO happy you are in Christ! You are a dearly loved child of God! You are uniquely and wonderfully made! You are loved just as you are!! Jesus paid it all!! YES!! Happy birthday Jesus!! I am SO happy to keep celebrating Your birth and enjoy the gift we have been given in You!! SO AWESOME!!! Thank You for brining Angie to DAB- yes, the power of just inviting. I love to hear it and always be reminded. Your Word is transforming and powerful! I LOVE it!! It is You. I love You!! I am so happy to lift up Angie to You and thank You for her willingness to obey and trust You to lead. You know how often I am stunned to see how few people join this prayer wall on a regular basis. I don’t know the reasons, I don’t understand it, but I thank You and praise You for calling Angie to it! I love to see familiar people and especially to get to know them. I’m like you, Angie, I’m a gabber, so that 2 minute time limit just puts too much stress on me. Writing is so much easier. What do you mean by a daily prayer? Do you mean daily prayer post? Hopefully so. There is such power in prayer and I have to believe that somehow God will use our written posts for good. Just to hear that you were a Mormon and now you’re not is exciting to me! It increases my hope for other Mormons and other religions to come to know the truth and be set free. What state are you in? I’m in Arizona. I look forward to hearing more for you and praying with you or for you.

    Father, thank You for Angie. What a blessing she is here! I know You’re very proud of her and happy with her because she’s Your girl! You love her a TON!! Bless her and encourage her to keep walking with Jesus each day while enjoying the journey. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit. I praise You! Merry Christmas!! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen and Amen!

    So please forgive my ignorance (and yes I’m going to use this word appropriately) I’m really technically so far behind that every second is passing me like a dog year to a human, so the two of you who have responded I hope I can answer some questions you directed to me, and please be aware that I’m not even sure if what I’m trying to do is going to translate but I keep stepping out and keep getting encouragement so even if I’m doing the technology all wrong, God is teaching me and obviously teaching everyone who is encouraging me on the way so I’ll tell you a little more. God is so Big right now I don’t know where to start it all weaves into each other. I think I’ll try to stay focused on DAB. 1st, just teaching me a rhythm MY Rhythm. And that it’s ok if I don’t read the Bible, I’m an audio girl. God blessed me with a job that aloud me as I was coming out of Mormonism to learn what Grace was and to feed and teach myself the word 8 hours a day at work for the last 6 years. How blessed is that. I got to choose how I heard Gods word. Who was teaching me, and what a responsiblity that was, I couldn’t just listen to my “leaders” they challenged me to question them. What did it mean to “know the shepherds voice “ I’m just now learning the lie, that the sheapard I was told was the good shepherd was the wolf. And how fantastic the lie is hidden. Oh that is another sermon, lol. So, I now find myself wanting to focus my time at work on learning to pray think of all that time in a postal plant. I’ve already seen miracles what if I really get intentional about praying. Well listening to DAB all the way through the podcast, has given me the freedom to start learning to voice my prayers, come in agreement, have a virtual prayer circle, but I really want to get intentional I listen to these prayers and there are common themes, and I find myself wanting to pray for the God to heal the world of these themes of things, and I want to get intentional at work about them. I also think God is calling me to my own influence of people outside of my local self, a place of self discovery if you will where I can share the things I feel God calling on me to pray for, maybe grab a few on the way to join in, maybe learn a thing or two from each other on the way, and I believe God told me too. So any advice along the way I’m open. I want to speak Hope and it’s name is Jesus. My life experience says you can overcome with Jesus. You can love yourself if you trust and love Jesus, He will Heal ALL YOUR WOUNDS. If hHe has done it for me He will do it for you. Thank you Jesus. And Happy Birthday.

    Hello Angie,
    This is Tobie! Welcome to the family.
    I can hear the excitement of discovering and getting to know our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ in your words. It has been over forty years since I came to know Christ and I am still so in love and excited and happy to know Him more everyday. Fellowshipping with Him, and seeing how He operates in my life, and in the lives or others is truly a marvelous wonder. Even when things look sideways and I cannot see a way out, up, down, under, or through, I look to Him, and by faith, know that I can trust Him to navigate the best way. Does it always clear up immediately…No! Do I have to practice patience during the waiting period? Yes! I know He is faithful. When I am tempted to waiver, I remember His word and speak it out loud at times to build my faith by hearing it. Other times I pray the promise of that particular scripture. He knows the best way for me because He IS the Way as He says in John 14:6.
    Angie, you have begun a tremendously wonderful eternal journey in Christ. Your new life will never end. What a joy, what a promise, what a sweet reality. The Holy Spirit is teaching you as you read the Word. It never ends. There is always more to discover and He shows us more each time. Stay in the Word.
    John 14:26
    “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

    Talk to the Lord about finding an actual brick and mortar fellowship of which you can be a part. You may want to pay a visit to those in your area. Maybe your friend who suggested DAB can help you. My pastor says, if you are looking for the perfect church fellowship, once you find it it will no longer be perfect. Take a close look at their doctrine. If it lines up with the Word of God and you have gotten the okay from Him that this is where you need to be, go for it.

    Father,
    Thank you for the hunger You have given Angie for Your Word. As she reads and meditates on it, may she come to know you more. Thank you for the wonder and excitement she has for new life in You. Thank you for her friend, who had the boldness to share DAB with Angie.
    May Angie continue to grow in Your grace and favor. She has a testimony. Help her to share it with all those who are willing to have ears to hear. May she sow and water seed in their lives. We trust you Holy Spirit to bring the increase. We love you Lord. Amen

    LORD Jesus, we love You, and thank You for delivering Angie from Mormonism. We know that you will continue to draw her, call her, and choose her. Leading her in the everlasting way and providing her with everything she needs to walk in faith. Bless her and keep her and let Your face shine upon her. In Jesus’ mighty and eternal name, Amen.

    Father Oh Gracious, Merciful, God Most High, Praise You!!!!! Thank You Father for Lighting the path forward in front of my sister Angie, one step at a time. Glowing with Your Light, filled abundantly with everything she needs, shaped, molded, and prepared by Your Hand, Oh God, for her to seek You in all ways, finding You, as she by action of Faith, moves forward, with You onto the step right in front her, one step at a time. Thank You Father for carrying my sister in Your arms, as she focuses completely on You, moving forward, together, Living the Life You breathed into her, through the Living Word of God, alive forever.     Oh guys I’m so encouraged. So let me tell a little more about myself. I believe it is Toby, Thank you. God put it on my heart that being a part of a local body is very important. I am well decsipled (sorry for spelling, it’s the phone, and well, I’m an ‘80s girl) I am planted. I am discovering that my journey with God is MINE! ALL OF IT. He has been showing me this from the very second He ripped the foundation of the Book of Mormon, which was my Truth, and gave me the Bible, a book I thought I had, and He showed me the Other lie. Blind Tony has been a big confirmation of my thoughts in, though I may have my physical eyes, God has designed me to function by hearing things, but this gift was silenced because I grew up being told how to worship, how to study, and to stay away from the Bible, yet I carried one. But only knew what they told me. What a blessing of just hearing the word, ALL OF IT, for the first time, in my whole life, and if I missed a day, the rhythm I found and no condemnation of not being perfect and finding myself all caught up with all of you veterans finishing strong, knowing that Gods word doesn’t return void and just by doing it for this year will bring a harvest 10 fold and I’m so excited for the future. So here is my prayer for the day Father God, teach us our uniqueness, help us to forgive ourselves, because this world wants to break us in depression. You are our Hope. Only you Jesus. Teach us. We love you. Heal us Father. Ps. I’m really having a great time.
