inmate stabbed in both eyes

    My friend’s son is incarcerated in a facility in Virginia (US). His son is mentally ill and the prison refuses to administer the medicine that has been very effective . His mental state began to deteriorate right before New Year’s eve, but the powers that be denied a request to transfer him to an appropriate facility. Instead, he was transferred to a larger prison population to be watched. Earlier this week both eyes were pierced. The details are not available yet. Both eyes have been operated on, but the prognosis is bleak. Total blindness in one eye and maybe a very small amount of peripheral vision in the other. Please pray for healing in both mind and body, justice, ongoing financial help, an appropriate place to live, etc. Please pray for his family, for peace, encouragement, wisdom, et. Also kindly pray for those who will be on the case, and anything else God brings to mind. Thank you and bless you!

    Father in heaven, This is so sad. I pray for healing for this son in body, mind and spirit. I pray he may know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I pray he may be able to forgive this violence against him. May he have a placement that is right. May those on his case have wisdom. Lord, please make a way where there seems to be no way to get this son’s meds back to him and for him to function normally. Bless him with good counseling. Help him understand. Bring strong Christian men into his days. In Jesus name

    This is a terribly tragic story and my heart goes out to this young man! No matter the circumstances, he needs help. – not lockup! You are all in my prayers for healing, real justice, peace and hope

    Dear Father, we come before you in total awe and surrender, You are God all by Yourself, We pray for divine and speedy intervention upon your son’s life, health and case. There is nothing too difficult for you Lord, by the stripes of Jesus your son is healed totally right now, he receives a full restoration of his vision in both eyes and of his brain and mind. Fill him with your love of God and send help his way oh God and turn things around for his good in Jesus name! Thank you Lord because it’s done.

    I pray that the son of our sister’s friend will recover soon. Please let Your justice shine through in allowing the son of our sister’s friend receive the proper medical treatment for his mental health. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Lord God, please meet these great needs , which are not great to You. Lord, use this violence to bring both this young man & his attacker to Your own Self. You are both just and merciful. Please do what is Lifegiving for these families while glorifying Yourself beyond what we could imagine in Jesus Name.
