January 18, 2024 at 5:38 pmit seems surreal to be posting something like this. thank you Dabbers once again for taking your precious time to read and pray. our sin Graham has gone beyond anything that most parents could ever imagine in their mind. last night we were informed that there is what they call a green light contract out on our son for an alleged theft of $12, 800 street value of cocaine. to say he is out of control is an under statement. to say i am crying out to God is an under statement. i have nowhere to go but to God. it has been out of our hands for such a long long long time. i am asking you to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to pray for us. God how we need you. Psalm 112:7&8. I will not fear bad news when it comes. My heart is steadfast trusting in you ; oh Lord…I am hearing peace be still !!!!Thank you all so much. Addiction is a whirlwind of chaos and the enemy loves it. MERCIFUL LORD, DO WHAT ONLY YOU CAN DO.

January 20, 2024 at 6:29 amHeavenly Father, We come before you with a heavy heart, lifting up this distressed mother whose son is facing tumultuous challenges. Grant her strength and solace as she navigates this difficult situation. Remind her of Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Be close to her in this time of distress. We pray for her son, asking for Your guidance and intervention. May he experience the transforming power of Your love. Psalm 46:1 assures us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Lord, be a refuge for this family in the midst of turmoil. May this mother find comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Strengthen her faith as she leans on You for guidance and wisdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
