Please pray To the Lord Almighty to strengthen, comfort and heal our broken hearts and giving us His peace. My young nephew was murdered during the holidays. He was born again/saved, and we know that he is with God, which brings us hope. It’s hard to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus when our eyes are filled with tears. Please pray especially for my sister Lonnie and her family. Also please pray for the detectives that the Lord give them wisdom and decernment to apprehend the person responsible quickly so that we can have complete closure. We forgive him, and pray to go that the person responsible does not inflict more pain another family! In Jesus Name iPray! Amen!
January 18, 2016 at 11:56 pmWhen I read your post, my heart hurt for you and your family. I will keep you all in my prayers for comfort and resolution. Please give Lonnie and her family my love. Although we don’t know each other personally, we are connected through DAB and through Christ. I remembered a poem I wrote many years ago and hope that it is alright that I’m sharing it with you.
You Need Never Be Alone

Although I can’t imagine how hard it is take solice like you say knowing you’ll join him and that he was called home for a purpose. God bless you and the rest of his family and his friends as well.

January 25, 2016 at 2:48 pmI know all too well the pain and grief of having a loved one murdered. I too experienced this in 2001 when my brother was murdered. As of yet the murderer has not been identified which killed me for a long time, but God is good and He truly is our comforter. I will pray that our Lord wraps all of you in His arms and covers you all with His mantle. I pray that the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding come upon you. I pray that you all trust God in bringing this murderer to justice, however I also pray that as I have done, learn to trust God and His timing. It may not be God’s will that we see justice served here on earth in man’s court, but justice will be served inn the highest court of all. We all will stand before God. Trusting God in this has been the only way that I have found peace and I pray for peace and comfort. May God bless you all and fortify you in Jesus’ Holy and powerful name. Amen!

We thank you God that we can stand together for our precious family who is crying out to you LORD. Oh God we groan and travail for our brothers and sisters. LORD we loose angels of Father God on assignment to uncover this evil and bring it into the light. Lord God bring this person to justice. Lord we ask you to hide this family under your wings and comfort them and give them rest and peace. Lord your word says that “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isa 26:3) We thank you for that Lord. Lord we apply the Blood of Jesus over this family and their hearts and a hedge of protection so that NO weapon formed against them shall prosper!!! No lying spirits can speak! We mute them ALL!!! Lord keep their hearts guarded and protected as they grieve the loss of their son and nephew. Lord we are believing that what the enemy meant for harm You will use for good and for your Glory!!! February 6, 2016 at 7:08 pmMy heart aches when I read your post. I lost my 19 year old son to natural causes so I know how you and his parents feel. It is so difficult and murder makes it worse. Loss of a child is the most difficult loss of my life. I lost my Mom when I was 8 years old and I lost my step mom 10 years ago. I am 51 and I too snuggle with grief. But I have to say, but God. He is my rock. She. The waves of grief come, and they will, just love on the parents. No words need to be said. Your presence is stronger than any words. There is also a faith based support group for any type of loss. It has helped me so much. Look up GriefShare.org. They have groups all over the US. I will pray for you family and siblings (if their ar siblings). Siblings tend to get forgotten about becaus us parents are so grief stricken. Please pray that the Lord will fill the broken pieces with His peace. Pray for Godly wisdom for the detectives to solve our case! Pray that the person responsible will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior in his life so that he will not die in his sins, but join my nephew in Heaven.???.
