January 9, 2021 at 7:22 pmFather in heaven, I pray you will help Susan find a time in the day for the Word. I find Brian’s reading and commentary extremely helpful. Help her be faithful to feed herself the Word. Ray Comfort always says, When was the last time you ate. The Word comes first. What ever way she finds to stay faithful to your presence in her life, nudge her toward it. Elisabeth Elliot always said, Just do it. It’s a discipline. It’s a commitment. It’s faithfulness to God. January 12, 2021 at 7:52 pmYou are where you are today in part because of what you’ve been saying about yourself. Words are like seeds. When you speak something out, you give life to what you’re saying. If you continue to say it, eventually that can become a reality. Whether you realize it or not, you are prophesying your future. That’s great when you’re saying, “I’m blessed. I’m strong.” But it’s not great when you’re saying, “I never get a break. I’ll probably get laid off.” Your life moves in the direction of your words. Think of your words as seeds you’re planting. At some point, you’re going to eat fruit from the exact seeds that you’ve been sowing, so make sure you’re planting the right seeds. In other words, you can’t talk negative and expect to live a positive life. If you don’t like what you’re eating, start sowing seeds of abundance and increase, and you’ll reap a harvest of good things.

January 13, 2021 at 12:57 amAmen! to these prayers. We all have been given the same 24 hours in a day. It’s up to us as to how we’ll spend them. It isn’t about us finding the time for God’s Word. It’s more about us making time in our day for God’s Word. Chances are, if we don’t set aside time each day to spend time fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit around God’s Word. Then our allotted 24 hours will slip past us, and we will have missed our chance for that day. Father, light a fire under us, to spend the time with You in, and around You Word. It has been proven that it takes about 66 days before a new behavior to become automatic. Not much of a sacrifice, when we consider all of the benefits.
Praying in the mighty name of our Lord, and Savior, Jesus. Amen!💓
