“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whos mind is stayed on Thee;
because he trusteth in Thee.” (Isa. 26:3)
(Nothing missing, nothing broken), is a proclaiming a blessing. The term is derived from the Hebrew word (shalom), which we generally say as peace. Shalom speaks of wholeness, or (nothing missing, nothing broken). Shalom, encompasses health, security, good condition, success, comfort, safety, happiness, wellness, wholeness, and soundness. Shalom, (nothing missing, nothing broken), is a picture of a harmonious state of soul and mind. And speaks of fulfillment, satisfaction, and contentment.
Jesus Christ is our peace, and our shalom. Whatever has been lost, Jesus can fill the void. He will make it up to you. Whatever was broken, He can mend and make better than new. Jesus brings us wholeness, shalom, (nothing missing, nothing broken).
“For He is our peace, shalom, (nothing missing, nothing broken), who hath made us one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.” (Eph. 2:14)
Today we celebrate the victory won on good Friday where Jesus bought us back, redeemed us, and made us whole. In Him, nothing is missing, and nothing is broken. Jesus is our shalom.
Glory! to our risen King. Amen! 💓
