February 2, 2018 at 2:02 pmHi folks,
Just a little line to ask that you’d pray… I’m OK really, but feeling a bit low and am in the doldrums rather.
I started a new job this year which is so far going well, I think. But with losing good friends from my old workplace and not quite knowing who I am or what I’m doing, I’m a bit all over the place. It hasn’t helped that I’ve had trouble shifting a bit of a cough too. Tired? Self pity? Probably a bit of that too, and definitely some doubts about whether God knows my name or has a plan for my future.
And to crown it, a longstanding email friendship just broke down (again) today. I’m tired of going round in the same circles with this one. I guess that’s left me feeling a bit bereft and lacking hope that I might have better/healthier relationships in future. It’s not fun being ‘dropped’.
Thanks for your prayers, encouragement and support. It’s just lovely that we can come here and be there for one another. I love praying for other people here too… gets me out of myself. 🙂

February 2, 2018 at 4:43 pmDear simplify44-info
God always has a plan, he has a plan in preparation, he is close in the waiting. I pray you focus on your daily rhythm with him. I pray that this year you see his friendship as standing above and beyond any other. That what he has to give when we get close is like nothing else there is. I pray that you Consider and receive your spiritual gifts. I pray you look for him and see him looking right back at you. May you indeed as Linda says be blessed in this way.
Dear Lord Jesus,
I pray you hand his upon simplify44-info, I pray he seeks you with all his heart and sees that you are standing there right near by. I pray the encounter he has from you makes all things drop away. Lord let us be lost in your love that reaches out and over all things. Amen.pilly1356Prayers: 846Requests: 3

February 3, 2018 at 3:28 amFriend, To everything there is a season.. I am in a similar place. After over a decade working with what I thought was my last job, I went through a reorganization and had to move on. The experience has been like the death of a lose family member, and well it is. My new situation although the same work, has many cultural and regulatory differences and so I am stumbling through. Also finding it hard to fully embrace the new. I feel God trying to call me up higher in this place but Otis very difficult. I am calling it my wilderness place. Trying to be at peace and wait for God. I prayGod will bring you new friends and in time heal the old one.

February 6, 2018 at 12:58 pmThank you for praying. I am pressing on… the old friendship is tentatively repaired, and yet I’m still in search of a deeper and clearer sense of God in my heart. Have been praying for you, Pam, we’re in such a similar season. I had to move on from my last role after 12yrs due to reorganisation. Challenging shifts, eh?
