March 29, 2022 at 9:55 amWe could make a decision today that could determine our future life, cause great financial impact, or hurt and cause division to our friends and loved ones. Decisions are as simple as what to eat and when; however, there are more complex decisions in life that require a lot of wisdom and discernment. The word decision follows the act of deciding. If we already have our minds made up the decision has been made. The question is do we put God in the decision process or the blessing of what we have decided without Him? How many times have we said, “man, what was I thinking of? Boy that was not a smart decision, just look at this mess”. God wants to be in the deciding mode, not the clean up mode. The bible is replete in verses that stress God wants to help us have a fulfilled life; peaceful and rewarding. When we spend time in living with wrong decisions peace does not ensue! Here is His formula, first clear your mind and earnestly confess sins, tell Him your needs, and have an open mind to what God will say. Make your request known to Him and seek His wisdom. Be neutral. Exercise patience, pray without ceasing and seek His direction, with no outside pressure from friends, etc. wait in peace. Again, Father knows best! Use Him as your resource today for your decisions, great and small. This is not easy! It takes practice and prayer. It is best to live by Proverbs 3:5-6, TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH. Blessings and have a great week. Amen 🙏 Gods Chosen One GA
