There seems to be no lack of human illness and maladies. Right now I am aware of 6 people, friends or family that are facing threatening health issues. These issues are not minor. There is but one thing we can do; that is PRAY! 🙏🙌✝️ In thinking of prayer, I also thought of us as a “BAND OF BROTHERS/SISTERS” for those around us. We often get so caught up in our own issues we fall short of praying for others. We find these words in James 5:17, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working”. We need to band together as believers and pray for one another as we are told to do. We need not carry our burdens alone when there is a great resource in praying. I challenge you to get a small book, write down the names and issues of those around you that need prayer. Take time each day to look over your list. Then, lift up each name to the Father. Pray for whatever outcome each person needs, but overlay each request with “THY WILL BE DONE”. Oh Lord Sometimes we go through the challenges of life as a design by GOD. He wants to bring us through with a greater closeness to Him, and a greater reliance on Him for our future. He does not always remove the obstacles, but in every case HE will walk through them with us. Psalm 84 ends like this, OH LORD OF HOSTS, HOW BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THEE!. Trust Him for this issue or that illness. Pray intently, listen closely and hold tight to the hand that promises to always be there for you. May GOD bless you today.
