March 17, 2020 at 12:45 amDear Sister, I do not know what it is to lose a husband but if you were as God had wanted, you would have lost half of who you are. For Jesus said that when we marry the two become one. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two but one flesh” (Mark 10:6–8). I am so sorry for your loss but know that one day the two of you will meet again. Your husband is waiting eagerly on the other side for you and now he will suffer from his cancer no more. God has healed your husband and taken his pain away from him. Your husband has to suffer no more. As for you dear sweet sister, do not lose heart. We are never alone for God is always with us. He lives inside us and He will never forsake us. “God is with you – wherever you may go and no matter what life brings.” Joshua 1:9 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not onto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6 “Be strong. Be brave. Be fearless. You are never alone.” Joshua 1:9 I pray dear sister that you will always have friends that will lead you towards Christ and that your actions will show them how. Continue to find joy in all that you do for God gives us many opportunities to see the wonderful things that He has created. Yes, in a world that we are living in now, we really do need to take it one day at a time. Give each day time to appreciate the little wonders that surround us. Amen, God is good, God is so very good and He loves you and your husband very much. When you are called home, your husband will embrace you with open arms. Until then, trust in God and know that He is with you always. In Jesus’s precious and holy name I pray for you to hurt no more and to release your sadness to God. Know that your husband is home with the Lord and is patiently waiting for you. With Christ’s Love, Tracey 😊💗💗💗

March 18, 2020 at 7:13 pmTo my sister in the Lord, I also have lost my husband just over 4yrs 3 months ago. It was hard especially the 1st 2yrs because I also sustained a hip injury just before Charlie’s passing. I am surviving by holding on dearly to my faith that grows daily. My peace comes from knowing my husband who also had cancer is free of any pain or depression he may of been experiencing. He beat me to our forever home. I have come to a point of discovering what the Lord shares with so I can fulfill my purpose on this rock called earth. Everyone goes through grief differently but one thing I have learned in my new journey is to not allow myself to become isolated from others. If we can switch gears from dwelling on hurts to dwelling on memories to help push us forward. My experience has been when I listen to others & their struggles … mine seem so minor and it begins to help me change my perspective of where am I going in this new life journey. I pray you can find ways to share your experiences with others as encouragement and wisdom from our Father God. And in return will find the peace beyond all understanding that God loves us so much He gave His Son Jesus to walk on this earth as an example of what life could be. May the Peace of Jesus surround you so much that you will find ways to sing praises so your songs of praise will chase away the fears from the devil. Have a Blessed Day!!! 🙂
