losing hope for my brother

Please could you pray for my family and I. my brother has been continually drinking/ going out too much and relying on everyone else to help him through life. He started an apprenticeship last year (after several failed jobs) which has been going well, but if he doesn’t start taking control of his life soon then everything is likely to fall apart. He says he feels lost but lacks motivation to put in the self work to help him get out his rut and move forward. When I think about him it makes me anxious and I feel like I’m at my wit’s end because I have tried so hard to help, but he keeps falling back into his old ways and I’m scared it’s happening again. I know my parents are weary too and are planning to have serious conversations with him about his future today, so I pray they have the wisdom to know the right things to say that will actually make him listen and do something different. please pray for all our strength because we don’t know what to do, it feels like we’ve tried everything and nothing works. it’s almost like the devil knows how great he could be if he got his act together and keeps throwing everything at him to bring him down. thank you on advance 🙏🏾

This brother and his family. I claim the power, victory and protection that comes from the blood of the Lamb over the brother and his family.
I bind the demonic influences from having any control over them. I declare in the name of Jesus Christ, they are set free and the brother is freed from the chains of the tool of the devil, alcohol.
I thank you Holy Father and son for the sacrifice of Jesus which paid for our sins and redeemed us from the kingdom of darkness. I thank you for setting us free and I claim the brother and his family are free and living safe beneath the Father’s wing.In the powerful name of Jesus Christ.

May 2, 2022 at 2:52 pmWe lift NW’s brother before You Lord, asking for Your help. He has made some bad decisions and his family are worried. Strengthen them to stand in the gap for him, to keep praying for him however long it takes. Heavenly Father, only You have the power to change the heart of men. We can only bring them to the water, but it is up to the man to drink. You, oh Lord, can make the man thirsty so he will drink. We ask that your Holy Spirit will enable this man to humble himself before the Lord, repent, and realize his need of salvation. May his life be a testimony of Your goodness. In Jesus’ name. Amen

May 3, 2022 at 12:02 pmBe encouraged NW, it’s never to late for a miracle. I was once hopelessly lost and was a daily drinker. Alcohol was my go too drug. My life B.C. was in shambles. I attempted to power through — life, in my own strength with the constant use of alcohol as a crutch. But then one glorious day, the Holy Spirit got ahold of me, and I accepted JESUS CHRIST into my heart, and my life was forever changed from that day forwarded. Be encouraged NW, I strongly believe and expect, that the Holy Spirit will break down the walls of resistance. And He will give your family the words to speak that will convict your brothers heart. And your brother will turn to the LORD, and experience the wonderful saving grace of the Father. Abba, we pray that Your love and forgiveness flow in this family…

Life may be so challenging for him right now, and he needs You. Please lord, I pray for this brother right now as he needs You night and day to direct the affairs of his life, to comfort him; show him Your ways, and give him direction. Bring solutions into his life that only You can provide. Even as his brother NW is worried and dismayed; please let all the negative effects on this brother be erased. In the name of Jesus. Please lord, Take fearful thoughts out of his mind, take away stress about everything, and force him to lay all their desires, anxieties and problems at Your feet. Jesus, They need solutions, and they can’t find them on their own. Please use Your powerful, mighty hands to break the chains and bring peace to their heart and mind. In Your powerful name, I pray. Amen. Praying also for wisdom and discernment; love and soft and gentle words to flow from these parents to their son.
