May 11, 2023 at 9:26 amDAB, can you all please pray for me and also for my marriage?
Too much to go into, but I lost my oldest son 2 years ago. It has been devastating and the worst part is not truly knowing if he is in heaven. This is just our reality.
I also have major marriage issues. The strain and pain of our son’s death has compounded all of the issues we had. That and a cross country move, home buying, and house repair. And job issues.
We had a bad time about 6 months after the death, but I was very spiritually strong then and with God’s help could carry the weight of the marriage. Now there are imminent issues once again and I’m in the very lowest of spiritual valleys. My husband is a believer, but isn’t seeking the Lord.
Please pray. I’m afraid my 30+ year marriage is about to end and I haven’t the strength to do anything about it.

May 11, 2023 at 12:45 pmBless the LORD! seaghdha, bless the LORD! O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy Name (Psa. 103). God promises many benefits to those who put their trust in Him. One of them is He will redeem our lives from destruction. God can do anything but fail. He sees your situation and already has it in mind as to how to fix it. Bless the LORD! When in the valley do what the Psalmist David did, (Psa. 121:1-2) “I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which hath made heaven and earth.” Sometimes we need to move our focus off of our fears so we can focus on the Father. (Psa. 23:4) says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” We are never alone, God is with us even in the dry places. (Isa. 58:11) “And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desires in scorched places, and give strength to your bones: And you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” Bless the LORD! Father, thank You for walking closely with seaghdha. And that your keenly aware of all that concerns her on this earth. Thank You also that You’ve heard her prayers and You are moving to bring the right answers to remedy her marital situation. And that Your moving to bring healing form the emotional trauma and wounds that occurred from the tragic loss of their child. “Comforter” move to restore and bind up these broken and shattered hearts (Je. 30:17) For I will restore health unto you and heal you of your wounds. “saith the LORD.” Move also we pray our compassionate “Caring Shepherd” to restore the joy of the LORD in this marriage along with the desire for both parties to draw close to You seek You as never before. Thank You, and bless You LORD that there are brighter days ahead for this couple. And that the clouds are about to part so that the brightness of Your glory✨can come shining forth. We earnestly pray that all be well with this couple. Father, may Your great grace and lovingkindness and tender mercies carry them along towards Your intended purpose and plan for their lives…
We pray in JESUS’ holy Name. Amen! ❤
