About 2 days before Mother’s Day, someone mowed my lawn and trimmed my tree in my front yard, and left a big pile of tree branches by the curb. I didn’t know until recently who had done this. It was the people who always do my lawn. They were wanting to do something nice for me because I’m such a good customer. The problem is that they thought that the garbage truck would pick up the pile when they came by and haul it off. I, actually thought they would as well. They don’t. So Thursday I got a note on my garage from the city saying that I needed to have it all hauled off. I called the people who do my lawn and explained what was going on. They said they’d come by Saturday and get it taken care of. Then I called the city manager and told him it would be taken care of on Saturday. They didn’t come Saturday. I actually saw a post in Facebook from the person that told me that, and he was out of town. Then, I got a call from his secretary first thing this morning. She apologised for everything, and told me that he was coming 1st thing to take care of it. It’s been over five hours now, and he still hasn’t come. Please pray that he’ll get here and get it done and that I can calm down. And, also, that I won’t end up getting fined for something that I didn’t ask to have done.
