Heavenly Father, I enter your throne room on behalf of this son you created and gifted with unique creative and technical skills. Father, I stand here in agreement with Brent’s prayer requests, knowing how difficult it must have been to be so transparent before the community of faith. Father, I thank and praise you that his transparency allows us to stand beside him and plead that you heal him of his depression and suicidal thoughts, and that you reassure him that you are in control of his employment and career. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, whose name has the power to still the winds and seas, I pray that you would release your heavenly hosts to do battle against the prince of darkness who has filled Brent’s mind with doubts and fears, and has encouraged Brent to end his life. Lucifer desires to kill and destroy Brent. But your power is mightier than any satanic forces! I pray that you would take up battle against the evil one, and cast all forces of evil back into the pit of hell. Free Brent of this Satanic oppression, and show him how to resist and flee from the devil. I pray that you would place a hedge of protection around Brent, and that you heal him from this major depression. We place his career on your altar, and ask that you guide Brent’s work in accordance with your plan for his life. Fill him with your Holy Spirit, and allow your spirit to equip him with a calm and peace that passes all understanding, so that he will have no fears about his present or his future. Father, take Brent’s hand in yours, and guide him step by step in the path you have prepared for him. You, Lord, are worthy of all praise. I thank you for the gift of Brent’s life to our community, and for the talents you have given to him. Blessed be your holy name.
