My dear DAB family, please join me in praying for my close friend Phyllis and her husband of 44 years Mark. While on vacation with their children and grandchildren in Sedona a couple of weeks ago Mark started feeling sick. He was so sick, in fact, that they took him to the emergency room. A CAT scan showed a large mass in his abdomen and the doctor said there was nothing that could be done. They came home to Las Vegas and got a second opinion. Doctors confirmed the mass but said chemo may help. So today he started high dose chemotherapy. It will be three days on and two days off. He will remain in the hospital through several rounds. My friend is reeling. They were on vacation. And now he may never leave the hospital. Please friends. Pray for Mark and Phyllis…they are our brother and sister in Christ.

October 21, 2020 at 12:25 pmHeavenly Father, life can be very difficult at times. But we know, that there is always hope when we know You. We bring Mark and Phyllis before Your throne of grace, and mercy. We cover Mark with the blood of Jesus. And ask Lord for a miracle. We know that with men, it’s impossible. But with You, all things are possible. We ask that they both would be surrounded by Your unfailing love, and presence. Father we are believing for a powerful testimony to come out of this.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen!
