Standing in agreement with these prayers for danww’s marriage. Lord, You bound them together and no one can separate them. The enemy is trying to do so and we pray victory over him and his schemes. The wife may not see the spiritual battle, however she can come to see it in time. Right now it seems what is more important is that she sees how much her husband loves and cares for her. Help him find ways to show his love to her that she understands and receives as love (brother: Read the Five Love Languages book by Gary Chapman). Lord help them keep their communication lines open and loving towards each other. If it would be useful, help them find a Christian counselor who can help them sort out this bump in the road and move them past it. ~gail

I am praying for your marriage brother. May the Lord silence the agenda of the enemy over your marriage. May the Blood of Jesus fight and seal your marriage. May your wife’s eyes be open to know who the true enemy of your marriage is. May you one day say ” Indeed this marriage has worked thanks to God’s faithfulness”. Marriage is a GREAT institution and that is why the enemy attacks it.

Lord, we lift up all of these who are graced with marriage and pray for their unity and love. That their walk with you would flourish as the noon day sun. Guard their minds and hearts for one another and may they build a lasting foundation that can stand through the storm. Rid this union of the divisive tongue and build with labors of love… in Jesus name… We are rooting for you!

Father, I return to your throne this day to ask that the blood of Jesus Christ cover these marriages and even those who do not realize the need for your touch. I come against the enemy who attacks our marriage for the same reason he attacks us: he wants to kill and destroy anything that brings glory and honor to Almighty God. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come against Satan and his demons and command that they be cast out of these homes, these relationships and these husbands and wives. Let them be cast into the lake of fire where they belong. Give these marriages the ability to heal and strengthen by granting a hedge of protection around these homes and these lives. Father, without the destructive influence of Satan and his constant lies, I pray that you would heal these marriages so that they can be restored to serving you. Your word promises that you will not quench even the dimmest flame of faith. Standing on this promise, Father, I ask that you let the love of these couples be restored and reignited. Father, it still amazes us how much you care for us, how not the slightest detail escapes your attention and your concern. Bless you, Father, for the way you reveal yourself to us so perfectly, so gradually. With you, every day is a new day. You make it possible to make a fresh start, and grant us the ability to put things behind us as no other human institution would ever allow.

Amen! O Lord, we look to You for these marriages of believers committed to You. Heal these individuals by showing them Yourself in Your Word. May we all come to understand Your Way of Love rather than what we think we may know or what we have heard. Remind us Lord as we put You at the helm of our marriages, quitting is never an option. We do not behave by our feelings (they will deceive us), O Lord, but by every WORD that comes from You. Father, we commit anew to You to rekindle Your hope; reminding ourselves that we live in a temporal world that is passing away. The things that count, dear Jesus, are those things that are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4. Since we are the jars of clay that hold the treasure, we need to look to You, Holy Spirit, for counsel when we look more at our partner’s failings than our own. Thank You Father, for Your mercy and grace. I am unworthy of the blessings You have bestowed but I know that through affliction, perplexity, persecution and even being struck down I carry in my body the death of Jesus so that His life may be manifest in me. I trust You Lord, and do not lean upon my own understanding but acknowledge You, knowing You will make my path straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
