March 26, 2020 at 3:06 pmPlease pray for my unsaved husband that he will desire to know God. He runs out of the room when I play Christian content and refuses to discuss spiritual matters. The intimacy is our marriage is gone because of medical problems. Our life seems out of balance and we are like two roomates instead of spouses. I’m tired of having my life on hold waiting for something to change. I want love, affection and spiritual intimacy. Please pray for me to find fulfillment and happiness.

March 27, 2020 at 3:25 amHi Miranda, I just want to encourage you, God honours those who honour him, and he sees your marriage, and he sees your determination to make it work~ hold on tight, because there is always a storm before a breakthrough, always remember that. Dear Heavenly Father, I just commit this marriage to you right now, thank you for bringing Miranda and her husband together. Lord Jesus I just pray for your grace in their marriage, I pray that you would break into Miranda’s husbands life, and I pray that he would welcome you into his heart, I pray that you would use Miranda to be a light for you, I ask that you’d give her wisdom to know the right thing to say to him, and Lord Jesus I just pray that when she speaks to him about you that you’d open his mind to it. I also ask that you would bless this marriage with happiness and fulfilment, please shower this couple with your blessings. In Jesus name, amen

March 27, 2020 at 4:59 amDear Lord, I bring this couple to you and ask you to bring healing to their marriage. Keep the commitment strong and strengthen her determination to be a loving wife. Help her to see her husband through your eyes and to be a living example of your love. Soften his heart to accept your truth. Send other believers into their circle so that they may share in the opportunity to join in prayer, show Christ’s love and see this husband come to you. In the powerful name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

March 28, 2020 at 1:02 amStanding in agreement with your prayer for your marriage, and all marriages. A friend met me a few evenings ago and she shared her testimony with me in having lost her husband quite unexpectedly a couple of years back, and now remarriage. She shared a book with me called “Love and Respect,” by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs (a Pastor and marriage counselor). It’s a book that is very simply written, but quite challenging to put into motion because of a perpetuating cycle between a husband and wife where needs aren’t being met. She feels unloved and he feels disrespected. The book is premised on I Samuel 2:30. “for those who honor Me I will honor.” The message to love and respect comes from His heart in Ephesians 5:33. Bottom line… I’ve been struggling in my marriage for a long time, but already I see more clearly that we must look beyond the offense and see our husbands as a man who loves me, in spite of years of birthdays being overlooked, anniversaries being just another day… and physical neglect… when I respond with verbal acuity and hostility… he feels disrespected by me. Neither of our needs are met and the cycle never ends. I am clinging to the promise in 1 Samuel, and God has given me the ability to soften (just a bit). It’s brand new, but I am seeing him as a man who deep down really does love me, and I have outright disrespected him many a time on my birthday, anniversary. I’m praying God grant us the desire to love Him more than we want to hurt back. God wants this for us… and so do I. God Bless you and your husband. I pray our marriages will trophies to Him, in Jesus Name. Amen and sweet dreams for His Mercies are new as I hit “submit!”
