Hi brothers and sisters in Christ,
It’s the middle of the night here but I am awake with so much stuff in my head. Mainly that my dear mum-in-law is nearing the end of life. I know she’ll be going home. She’s been a lovely mum but has had dementia for 6 years or so and her 3 sons ‘lost’ her years ago but every now and then I’ve ‘found’ her thru singing or taking her v young great grandchildren to see her.
Now she has stopped being able to drink so the end is nigh. I want to be with her thru that so please pray that the home she lives in will allow me to be there and will contact me when necessary.

I’ve discovered in my life that the reason that God allows people to hang on, instead of silently slipping away, is to help us to grow in our relationship with Him. It says something about you, something very wonderful that even though she likely doesn’t know who you are, that you continue to love her and love her in a substantial way–by walking her to the gate of heaven. End of life experience and how we handle it, says a great deal about us.
So bless you, Sue. Continue to serve her so that those around you can see the love of God that emanates from you.
