4-month-old baby boy Berend died in 2015, first son for my brother, first grandchild. He had stenosis of all the arteries surrounding his heart. Then they had Johann, a healthy boy who is now 2 years old. Today, their six-week-old daughter Savannah had a check-up and the pediatrician is sending them 800 miles away for a heart catheter diagnosis/treatment because he heard a familiar murmur and took some scans.
My family was forever devastated and changed by the death of Berend. My mom’s health is extremely poor, my dad is on oxygen. My brother is a police officer. We are all believers and we know that God gives and takes away, but this….this familiar road is unfathomable. Please pray for complete healing for Savannah. Pray that her arteries are healed from stenosis and her heart becomes robust and she is allowed to grow into a healthy girl.
