My husband/caregiver has cancer

    Dear DAB family,
    You are indeed my church family because I am handicapped and it is too difficult to attend church. I have been a regular listener to DAB since 2011 but I have never called in. Brothers and sisters, please pray for my husband and I because we are experiencing many difficulties and are very weary of life. We feel alone and desperate. My husband was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in November. The doctor said that this kind of cancer does not respond to chemo or radiation and he gave him less than six months to live. By faith I do not want to accept that bad report. My husband changed his diet and has been doing a natural medicine. The sore is visually almost gone but not completely yet. Thankfully, he has gained 16 pounds, which was needed and is not taking prescription painkillers anymore. PTL. So we have seen some definite progress but ultimately our faith is in God not our efforts. We are praying for the Lord to clear him of all cancer in his body, especially since he is so needed to take care of me. He is my sole caregiver. I do not know what I would do without him in this life and my husband wants to spare me the nightmare of having strangers as caregivers for as long as possible. Unfortunately my husband gets discouraged fighting this cancer and he feels pretty weak and tired physically. We are overwhelmed trying to figure out any food sensitivities that are causing some symptoms. We need God to lead us to the right foods to eat. And for my husband to have endurance to keep doing the extra work of cooking healthy for us. Please pray for God to grant my husband grace and peace. He needs for his spirit to be uplifted. He is a very good man and a believer, however he is suffering a grieving broken heart due to a couple of recent divorces in the family and he is very concerned about family members. Please pray that my husband’s healing will bring much glory to God. And that our kids will draw closer to the Lord.

    Please also pray for me because I have been struggling with nervousness and anxiety and that just makes it more difficult for my husband. I have been a C-4,5 quadriplegic for 20 years but the last five years I have had ear crystal trouble resulting in vertigo and nausea with accompanying terrorizing anxiety and fear. I have mild vertigo episodes throughout the day and then occasional worse episodes that require medication. The regular ear therapy and doctors provide no answers for me and I do not know what natural methods or diet will fix me. I am at my wits end trying to figure out how to deal with it as well as autoimmune thyroid disease, low pressure pressure, etc. etc. ( Oh, come Lord Jesus.) Even though I have faith, I keep suffering from this nervousness and anxiety that I think is caused by the physical illnesses. Like my husband, I also need a miracle touch from God.

    Thank you, prayer warriors, for listening. Thank you for your faith and for carrying my husband and I to Jesus for healing and shalom. Please pray that my husband and I would have open eyes and ears as we seek God’s will for our lives.

    Abba, Father! Holy is Your Name! We intentionally decide today to walk in Your kingdom, to do Your Will. Most times this is hard and our flesh beckons us to walk away. Give us today a Word that sinks deep into our souls and feeds us the faith we need for today. We lift up am4evergreen today for Your Peace, that she know in her knower that You are Lord and can be trusted to provide for her. You, Father, are our Protector and Provider. We trust You. Thank You, Lord, for the healing that has transpired thus far. We thank You for am4evergreen’s husband who needs a healing touch in body, soul and spirit. Lift the burden of the troubles around him and allow him to look to You for strength and their deliverance. Give us hearts of LOVE that allow us to see how much it cost You to forgive us. May our hearts overflow with Your Love to extend that forgiveness to others; so that they too can enter the kingdom. Lord, give us Your Truth, Your Word is Truth. Give us a desire to sink our teeth deep into Your Word, so that we will come to understand Your Ways. Our enemy in this world does not want us to think like You, O Lord, but to think like him; he is a liar. Open our eyes and ears to really hear what You would say to us, today. The enemy wants us to believe that we are victims and not children of THE KING. Allow us to reposition our minds and think upon the things You have given us. Each day is a gift and one to press into the truth of Your Word and allow Your Love to wash over us. Give us strength, O Lord, to not succumb to temptation.
    Praise You O Lord and Father! You deserve all the glory and praise. Thank You for redeeming us from the power of the evil one and allowing us to walk with You each day! Allow this dear couple to fight the good fight and show them how to stand. Thank You, Jesus!

    Oh Our Heavenly Father- I pray in agreement with the prayer above. We thank you that you are a God of miracles and a God of all comfort and strength! May your glory shine through this entire situation! In Jesus name. Amen

    I agree with those prayers. Father, we humbly come and ask for healing for this couple – physical healing, emotional healing, spiritual healing. Work Your will, in Your way, at Your time to heal our brother and sister. Encourage and strengthen them, Lord. Help them with all these details. Send The Church to give them a helping hand. We thank You, Father, humbly, gratefully we thank You.

    Dear Heavenly Father, we commit and lift this couple into your hands. In stand in agreement with the previous prayers. Lord place your healing hands on both of them. Send forth whatever resources, people they may need to overcome this present state. Bring comfort to their tired hearts, minds and bodies. May they find strength in you. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

    Heavenly Father,

    Your Spirit has led me to the Book of Matthew 4 and I believe this is for this family. Lord I ask that you set the captives free!

    Jesus Heals the Sick
    23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them. Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.

    Lord sickness does not give you any pleasure and I know that it is your desire that we as you children stay in good health ;so Lord in the same way you went about healing the sick and casting out demons, I ask that you do the same for this family and COMPLETELY set them free from the BONDAGE of INFIRMITY. Lord I ask that you REBUKE the enemy of our soul.

    I ask you Lord to please set this couple free indeed.

    Thank you Jesus !
