August 4, 2022 at 7:16 amGod is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” These words from Psalm 46:1 are some of the most encouraging in all of the Old Testament. To be sure most people can easily understand that God is powerful. It almost goes without saying that he is. But a very present help? To many, myself included, God can sometimes feel far away, disinterested, distant. But these four words are a rock solid promise that God is with us and for us. He is not far away. He is near. He didn’t make us and then leave us alone to watch and see what happens. He is intimately connected with us and concerned for us. He is not just God, he is our God. Thank you for this assurance Gods Chosen OneGA 🙏🙏

Knowing God as our refuge enables us to trust Him more freely. We need not fear situations or people who threaten our well-being, whether in a physical or spiritual sense. He is my REFUGE! Praise God🙏🏻♥️🕊
August 4, 2022 at 8:49 pmInterestingly, when you and I stake claim to this verse, (Psa. 91:2),and do what it says “by us saying” it. We then open ourselves up to the rest of God’s promises’ in the remainder of the chapter. By (making) the LORD OUR “REFUGE” we are then entitled to lay hold of Psalm 91 as a whole. “I will (say) of the LORD———-♥️
