My son had religious experience and then had ‘acute pyscotic crisis’

    A prayer to daily audio bible

    A situation has risen for me and my family. I have been a Christian for many years now (although I have not joined any of the churches near me as they are so boring) and my youngest son whose 24 has now become a Christian too. About a month ago he was going through a difficult time and hadn’t been sleeping. I prayed with him and a couple of days later he came to me joyfully saying he believed, Jesus has saved him. We prayed and he has been reading the Bible and telling me all the things he has learnt. He then was saying how we are to remain in Jesus and He in us. He was very happy as he had problems with the devil accusing him and he felt free at last. Then last Sunday he was acting strange by the river and people called the police. He was saying God is with us all and we are God, shouting and running around. He has now been sectioned under the mental health act and is in a mental health hospital. They sedated him so he could sleep and he is more himself now. He still is saying he believes in God but not quite so loudly as he was before. How could this happen and how do I help him?

    Dear Lord,
    Quiet the heart of this young man, help him to understand his calling to evangalise, guide him to gentleness and peace.

    What does it say about our sociaty that takes a young man to a mental health unit for confessing God.
    He will be greatly blessed.

    Father, lifting up this man and his family to You. Give him a right mind. Let him declare Your praises without fear. Let his parents not be afraid. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit. You alone are God. You come to live in believers. Thank You for that!! I praise You! I pray You would use this situation for Your glory and the good of many. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

    Father in heaven, We know a sound mind is a gift you give us. I pray for this young man not to be deceived by the evil one. Send a sound Christian mentor to lead him in studying your Word. Bless him with a continuing hunger for the Word. Rescue this son from all the snares of the devil. Grow him strong in community in Christ. It is so difficult to go it alone. Bless him with the truth. Give wisdom to the doctors in their diagnosis. Save him from unneeded medication. In Jesus name

    Dear Lord we pray that your word becomes real and your spirit profound in this ladies life. May her boredom become boldness in you as she worships to your goodness. Please renew and restore this young mans life to the future walk with you Lord. In the loving name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray.

    oh Jesus, heal us. We need you Father, our world is so broken. We will only get out of it because of you. You have said when the church starts praying, you start moving. We are calling on you for your deliverance of this situation.
    We thank you in advance for your Glorious Miracle you will do here.
