September 24, 2019 at 2:46 pmHeavenly Father, I ask that you heal this son of his mental illness. If you choose not to instantaneously heal him, then I pray that you would guide him into taking his medications and restoring his sanity so that he can return home. I ask that you heal him of all drug addiction, and remove from his environment all negative influences over his behavior. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I command that Satan and his followers be bound from any further influence over this young man. I cast out Satan from his home, as well, and in Jesus’ name, I command that no evil forces be allowed in his house or any place he frequents. Restore him to his home and parents. I ask that you look upon his mother with compassion, and grant her freedom from anxiety as she yields control of this situation to you. Give her restful sleep every night. Father, look upon this son you created with mercy, and guide him out of the cloud of mental illness, and onto the path you have prepared for him. Show yourself to this young man as his Lord and Savior, and instill faith in his heart so that he can take responsibility for managing his illness rather than succumbing to the temptation to stray and deny the reality of his disease. Pour out your love on this household, and let your miracle be the legacy that mental illness is not a sentence to a diminished life. Praise you, Father, for your love for prodigals, and for the honor of standing in your presence to bring these petitions.
