Hello, I am desperately asking for prayer for my husband and our family. We have been estranged from his narcissistic father, co-narcissist mother and sister for almost 8 years and now. My husband is with his father at the hospital now who has days to live, but I can’t be with him due to the limitation his mother has put into place and their lack of acceptance of me as a member of the family. Please pray that we can find resolve and get through this difficult time, and that everyone can put aside judgement, manipulation, and selfish behavior and move on to a healthy relationship if it is God’s will. Please pray for strength, peace and wisdom for both my husband and myself. Please pray that my husband will have resilience to the behaviors of his family, and perhaps through this situation they will see their ways that need to change. Please pray that I will be able to be strong against my own confusion and heartbreak, and let go of the negative feelings and resentment that have been caused by his parents over our 25 year marriage. I want to be strong for my husband and also for our two young adult boys that no longer have a relationship with their grandparents due to the situation of the last 8 years. Please pray that God will be present in this situation and guard our hearts against further hurt and anxiety, and that he will be in the future relationship if it be his will. I also ask that you would pray that my father-in-law would be welcomed into The Kingdom of Heaven. I don’t know that he is saved.
