June 11, 2020 at 1:43 pmThank you Lord for Patti’s heart that desires to glorify You. Thank you Lord that Your grace and loving kindness is new every morning. Where would we be without Your mercy? Father, Patti’s heart is willing but her flesh is weak. Help her to resist the prompting of the enemy. Thank You Lord that You promise to strengthen the weary who call on You. Help her Lord to put down the glass and raise up the shield of faith that trusts in all of Your promises and deflects the arrows of the enemy. Help her to hold up the sword of Your Spirit that defeats the enemy by Your Word. You are our shield! You are our victory and salvation. Thank you Jesus For the sacrifice that has sealed our place as Your children that we might stand with You and share in Your victory. In Jesus Name. Amen!

June 11, 2020 at 7:20 pmLord, i lift up TexasRose to you, I have personal experience in this area. Father you knew exactly what need to occur in my life to get me to the place of total freedom from my dependence on alcohol. I pray Lord, that you work in our friends life. And bring freedom from this bondage.
Thank you Father that they have made the first BIG! step, by acknowledging that they have a problem. It is all down hill from there. Lord, i pray that a great deliverance will take place in their life. Jesus, you came to set the captives free. Set TexasRose totally free from this addiction.
Wash over them with your Holy Spirit power and drive out this spirit that is controlling them, and driving them. It is your will that we live with a sober mind. Lord, one of the most blessed things that you ever did to me. Was the day that you set me free from 16 years of hard drinking. There is nothing like complete freedom, i can attest to that. And i praise you for doing it, every time i think about it. I’m asking lord, that you do the same for TexasRose. You say in your Holy book, that You are not a respecter of persons, what you did for me, i know that you desire to do for them. They have been convicted by the Spirit of grace. And are crying out for your help. They’er wanting to be free, and walk pleasing to you. Have mercy on them today Lord, i pray, and make them free.In the wonderful name of Jesus! i pray.
I thank you merciful Lord, that freedom, and liberty is on it’s way for your beloved child.

June 12, 2020 at 8:28 amAlliana, I lift you up as well. God has not given us any temptation that he does not also provide a way of escape. I ask that he opens our eyes to SEE that way, and changes our hearts so that we WANT to take his way out. Rose

June 12, 2020 at 10:34 amFather, you are able to bring about the right conditions for this great change to take place. Only in Your strength can this be done. Help this sister to surrender to You. May Your Name be glorified and Your will done in her life!

June 12, 2020 at 11:14 amStanding in agreement with these prayers to stop drinking. The PBS Evening News did a piece on the increase of drinking during this pandemic – so you’re not alone. But we hear your desire to stop drinking.
Lord, You know that coming from an alcoholic family, I understand well the devastation alcohol has on people and relationships. I know this: alcohol ruins everything. There is no present when alcohol is being used because the person is spaced out. There is no past because they can’t remember a thing. There is no future as the behavior continues. There is only abandonment and loneliness for the drinker, their family, and friends.
Lord, bless, encourage, and strengthen our DABers who have taken a big, first step in admitting they have a problem and reaching out for prayer. Help them get help either through AA at https://www.aa.org/, or Celebrate Recovery (a Christian 12 step program) at https://www.celebraterecovery.com/
The Lord will help and guide you into the bright and joyful life He desires for you. Blessings
