Our Marriage

    Would you pray for our marriage? We‘ve been together for over 27 years, but we are strangers to each other, have no physical relationship with each other for years. I guess we both long for a good and healthy relationship, but the hurts of the past, and present sins make us withdraw from each other more and more. I often wonder how the mirracle of „the two shall become one flesh“ can ever happen in our life.

    Praying for your marriage, dear one, with deep compassion. Holy Spirit, hover over this couple with your healing touch. Give them a true heart of love for You. We ask for a spirit of repentance and forgiveness so that their eyes can be opened to the truth that many good marriages are built upon the scars of the past. Since marriage is Your idea O Lord, we know that You must be in the middle of it. We look to you to heal their brokenness in Jesus Name. Amen.

    Father in heaven, Help these dear people to forgive each other as You in Christ have forgiven them. Help them to count themselves dead in Christ and stop receiving hurts and offenses. Help them to wait patiently on you each day to learn your will for their day. Help them to smile often and sincerely from the heart. What you have done for us is beyond our amazing. Help them to turn to you instantly when fiery darts hit their shield of faith. Quench them with Your love. We are trusting you for a healed marriage. We hold up the shield of faith, knowing it is your perfect will also. IN Jesus name

    Dear Lord, we lift up this covenant and thank you for the 27 years they have been together. We thank you that the desire they have to restore their marriage. Lord, help them to forgive one another for past hurts father. Help them to see each other how you see them. Help them to trust you to repair their marriage. Bring joy into their marriage. Help them to find friends and supporters who speak life into their marriage. Silence this who speak against your will in their marriage. Help them to find new love and friendship at this stage of their life. I pray that they both seek your will to be done in their lives and their marriage. In Jesus’ holy name we pray, amen.
