Our son

    Please pray for our oldest son, who is struggling with many things including alcohol abuse, sleeplessness, and suicidal thoughts. After texting a friend that he wanted to die, he was arrested for DUI. Praise God he didn’t hurt anyone or himself while driving under the influence. He is in jail until his arraignment tomorrow and our family is distraught at the thought of the situation he is in. We know God is sovereign and we BELIEVE Romans 8:28 that all things come to good for those who love the Lord. Our son is asking for our help … we don’t know how to help him .. we ask your help in praying over him for healing from the brokenness that has put him in this place, and for prayer for his family to have wisdom in how to do God’s will and help him heal. Thank you for your prayer – we are grateful and thankful for this community!

    Dear Lord Jesus,
    Please rebuke the evil working in this young mans life. Please give him peace and rest. Help him on a path where you stand. Lord it is written blessed are the poor in spirit because the kingdom of heaven is theirs. Please help heaven come near for him, please help him find hope in you. Lord you are the true and only real source of hope, a relationship with you brings light and life it restores and heals please give this young man many paths back to you. Please be there at every turn in his life. Even as he got arrested I pray he saw you at work, he saw you reaching out. Lord please bring in your people to help guide him and show him that he is loved so dearly. Please help him know this in his soul and find the hope that you give. Please help his family and give them the words to speak. Please bless all interactions and help him open up to them knowing that they love him dearly. Amen.

    Oh Dear Sister,
    I will certainly pray! My son is an addict and I have personal understanding of what your family is enduring.
    First, you might want to talk about boundaries, so that you can help without enabling.
    I can’t stress enough how important it is to address mental health issues in young people. Also, you don’t mention his age, or insurance status but it would be so helpful if he would go into a rehab…there are ways, no matter what the finances. They have groups so they will be able to assess and treat addiction and the roots of it.
    May Father God bless your family and grant you His wisdom and consolation. I pray for healing of your precious son. I claim him, mind, body and soul for the Kingdom of God and come against any evil that tries to seduce him.Amen!

    Lord, work in the ways needed that I don’t even know how to pray for this young man and his family. Heal him and draw him to you. Thank you, Lord, that you gave him parents that love him, pray for him, and speak truth.

    Thank you, faithful friends. You cannot know how much your prayers mean to us as we seek ways to help our son heal. Since his teens he has struggled with suicidal thoughts and with feelings that he isn’t loved nor does he matter to God or to his family. He knows it doesn’t make sense, but he still has these thoughts – they are clearly attack from the enemy. He needs prayer for his mental, spiritual healing more than anything. Thank you again! I hold your prayers close to my heart!

    I am praying for your son and for God’s wisdom to guide you as you seek to know how to help your son. Yes, God is in control of all and does work all things for good for those who know Him. Praying for your family.

    Dear heavenly father, we love you and we come together in the precious name of Jesus please help your son father God please help him to find his way give him wisdom understanding and discernment that only you can bring open his eyes that he can see the truth I pray for the power father God and I thank you for that power I thand you for your Holy Spirit father God to cover him with your love I pray father God that you send your angels to minister to him. I speak deliverance And that you keep them from all harm safe in Jesus precious name amen
