To anyone who’d read this I was feeling very alone in my struggles until I began to listen to the prayer requests on DAB! I am a newly divorced 49 year old mom of 3 adult children. My marriage failed because of abuse not only of me but my children suffered as well. I now have an estranged daughter who won’t speak to me or allow me to see my 4 grandchildren because of all that she suffered throughout my marriage. I am living with and caring for my 82 year old mother who has many chronic health issues that have caused debilitating pain and disability. I am no longer able to work in my chosen profession due to a severe case of tendinitis which causes chronic pain and numbness in my hands, and arms. I’m in college part time pursuing a teaching credential because those who cannot do, teach right?! Even typing this prayer request is painful 😱 I acquired a subbing permit to teach part time as the money I earn for taking care of my mom does not stretch far enough. It’s been 2 months and no one has called me to sub. I went to district office to see if I could speed up process of hiring as I am desperate and the lady in charge of my application was very nasty and mean to me. I’m sure she doesn’t know me, but she behaved as if I didn’t deserve a chance to work an honest job. I don’t know what to do now and one by one our utilities are being shut off. Please pray for me and my family. I don’t know how much more has to happen. I have lost literally EVERYTHING (my marriage, my home, my car, my ability to practice my chosen profession, relationships with my family members) but I know there is a God! Despite all this loss I am still here and I know that something has got to give!

I pray a job will come through for her. October 5, 2019 at 9:40 pmThis prayer helped me; pray it daily…Heavenly Father, Lord God, I open my heart up to you. I open my heart up to the possibility of God invading my life. Heavenly Father, I ask you for the fullest portion of your presence in my soul, in my life, in my relationships and in the work you have planned for me. I ask for the fullest portion of your hope for my heart, my soul and my spirit. Help me to banish all thoughts of despair, discouragement, depression and anger. I know these are not the thoughts you have for me, Lord. Help me to trust you. I believe that you are with me. I believe that the life I prize is coming; a great good is coming to me. Help me God. Fill me up with encouragement; fill me up with your peace; fill me up with your love. Fill me up with the life-giving energy of your Holy Spirit. I pray that in this life and on this day I would brim over with hope and with new life. Amen.

I pray that you come to her rescue, met all her needs and clear any confusion that the devil is trying to arise. May your hand and favor comfort her in Jesus might name.
October 12, 2019 at 6:22 amAbba, Father! Thank You for these prayers lifted in behalf of our sister who is overwhelmed and confused. I think of the Psalm 62:1 that says “when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” You can be trusted, dear Lord, no matter what the world may throw at us. Thank You, Father, that when we enter Your Throne room, confusion dissipates, we have clarity of thought. You are Our Rock, Jesus, steady us when we are tossed about – renew our confidence in You and allow all other thoughts and ambitions be submitted to Your authority. Praise Your Name! Heal this dear daughter from the abuse she suffered. May she come to know the reasons for her suffering and use her scars to help others going through the same. Lord, strengthen her in her inner man to continue her ministry to her mom as unto You. In Jesus Mighty Name!

I am at my wits end, I need money, and Jesus don’t seem to be nowhere, but he is right there with me and you in our boats on the ocean of life. He will come come through for you and you will come out of your situation for good.

We pray that You will provide her an appropriate job, enough money to get her utilities turned back on, healing for her wrist, etc. Be her husband and father to her children. Heal the abuse in each person’s life. We pray blessing upon blessing for her today. Have Your way in vickiergage1’s life today. ~gail
