December 6, 2018 at 7:56 amI am so overwhelmed with life right now. So many major life changes. My Mom had a stroke and caring for her and my special needs sister along with conflict between them and my husband. Trying to sell our home and move in with Mom with all that that entails. Retiring from the job I love and is more like a ministry field to me and I have been there 25 plus years. The people I work for and with are dear friends..more like family..my sisters in Christ. My support system too. Moving away from them hurts my heart. Please pray for me and God’s wisdom and help for all I am dealing with? Pray for my Mom’s healing strength. Pray for my husband to have grace and mercy and peace of heart. Thank you!❤

December 6, 2018 at 8:52 amFather Thank You for Your Grace this day and for the pure Love You give right now to my sister in Christ, bzheart2u. Thank You Father for the answers You have already given her, already prepared her, for all of what is the battle. Father Thank You that she is fully armored, that I, Daniel am witness to, here on this prayer wall by her own request, speaking her own testimony that I am blessed to a part of today right this moment You are with us both. Thank You Father that she is blessed and surrounded by Your children fully armored doing battle with her and for her by Faith and action, believing and stepping forward, knowing You are in control and not the circumstances of the world. I love you sister. In the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

December 6, 2018 at 11:16 amIn summary, these are your current struggles:
1. Mom: stroke
2. Sister: special needs care
3. Husband: conflict
4. Home: selling
5. Moving: in with Mom
6. Job: retirement
7. Leaving: support systemIt’s no wonder you are overwhelmed, sister. That’s a lot to deal with all at once. Is there any possible way that you could remove an item or two from your list?? Are there other family members who can assist with Mom and Sis?
Father, we lift up our sister before You today and ask for Your help in all these details of her life. So much change all at once can be accomplished with You at the helm of her life. We ask for Your wisdom for her to know what You want her to do and what others can do. We pray healing on her Mom from the stroke and peace to abide with each person in her family. Please give our sister strength to carry on and wisdom to ask for help as needed.
Sister: From my experience when my dear mother in law had dementia and congestive heart failure, I was the only adult of the 4 of us who wasn’t working full time. It was assumed that I would take care of all Mom’s needs, doctor appointments, grocery shopping, etc. I did a lot, but I also got tired and overwhelmed at times. It was then that I asked my husband, his sister and our brother in law to step up and help Mom. It meant they had to take time off from their jobs. So be it. It was a hard thing for me to do and they challenged my request. I insisted. And it worked out better because in spending time with Mom they saw for themselves exactly where she had deteriorated and what her current needs were, all that in addition to getting her to her doctor appointments. As I momentarily stepped back and they stepped up, we all got what we needed. It was the beginning of us understanding that Mom was not going to get well, with that our grieving began. But you know what? I was the one who was blessed to have spent so much time with Mom, because I was the one who asked her how she felt about going to heaven, and I got to hear from her firsthand that she was at peace with God and not afraid. When I said my final goodbye to that dear sweet lady, I was at peace knowing I would see her again and that she passed from this world into eternity in peace. That’s a great gift.
