October 24, 2022 at 11:13 amBecome wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces. Proverbs 13:20 Who are the people that you have in your life? Are you giving your time and energy to putting out someone else’s fires, trying to keep somebody happy, yet feeling guilty if you don’t meet their every demand and need? That’s going to wear you out. You can’t reach your destiny with people who are constantly dragging you down. If you spend your time with gossips, peace stealers, or negative people, you’ll become like them. It’s time to make a change. Put up some boundaries and spend less time with them. You need to find people who feed you and not just need you. Especially in your inner circle of closest friends, you shouldn’t have alarmists who are always having a crisis or people who always want you to keep them happy. Your close friends need to be stable, wise, happy, responsible people who push you forward. Like iron sharpening iron, you make each other better. If you don’t get the wrong people out of your life, you’ll never meet the right ones. 🌟Think seriously about this beloved

October 24, 2022 at 3:00 pmThank you Spirit doc. I understand & appreciate – I get it completely, however to live it out in a work environment can be very difficult, & challenging. On the one hand we have a duty, or a work responsibility to fulfill, we have to work with whoever happens to be employed at our place of work. I am conscious of this principle & therefore I try & separate myself to a certain extent, but then I think of my witnesses. If I appear aloof & a loner, that’s not much of a witness? Currently I’m delivering pizza’s, having pulled my back at my previous work place due to heavy lifting. The work is easy, the environment relaxed, I have plenty of time to interact with the phone, the bible etc & the boss is ok with that. However, there is no one here I can relate to, on the same level. Oh for the wisdom of God. Thank you for the post & for patiently listening to my thought process. Shalom.

October 25, 2022 at 7:44 amThanks for sharing those words of wisdom, spiritdoc! So true about drama in our lives draining us. We need to try to be helpful to those crying out, but we also need to be prayerful about when it’s time to move on to other work that God has called us to do!
