October 4, 2016 at 9:43 amPleading for prayer for my 64-year-old father who underwent a prostate biopsy on September 26, 2016. The initial clinical report indicates an aggressive result (Gleason score of 9). My father will be seeing the doctor today to hear more and receive the prognosis. From my own research, the clinical report does not make me feel very comfortable and we fear that cancer might have spread outside of the prostate area.
PLEASE pray that my father’s relationship with God will be completely renewed and for his heart to know nothing else than complete reliance on Jesus. Please pray that my father will trust God completely no matter where the road leads. My hope is for my father to be completely healed but it is of infinitely greater importance to me that he draws closer to God through this. PLEASE also pray that when my dad goes through this spiritual transformation that it would be an overwhelmingly compelling evidence to my 34-year-old brother that God IS real and DOES change people – physically and spiritually. And last but not least, please pray for my mother in her support of my father through this. They have been married for 41 years.
“Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” – Gal 1jtylerk9Prayers: 1512Requests: 7

October 11, 2016 at 4:09 amWill be praying with you for your father. I have been down this road with my father. The Lord Jesus, faithfully healed him of cancer and of his unbelief. I had been praying for my father to accept the gospel, for over 18 years. Abba, my Heavenly Father is faithful.

October 14, 2016 at 5:28 amI pray that your father and brother be filled with the desire to know and seek God. May God kindle in them the fire of His love and that they may want this more than anything else. I pray for a favorable diagnosis for your father. Whatever happens, may you find the comfort of placing your trust in God in this trial. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

October 31, 2016 at 6:31 amI am humbled by all the responses and thanking each of you for your prayers. The results of the bone scan and lymph-node scan were extremely good and suggest that cancer has not spread anywhere else. Further checks down the road will of course still be required.
Today my dad is undergoing surgery in Pretoria to have his cancerous prostate removed. He is completely petrified at the surgery. Please would you pray for the following:
1) That he will continue to draw closer to God and deepen his relationship with Him.
2) A successful outcome to the surgery and complete disappearance of any remaining cancer.Thank you so much!

October 31, 2016 at 8:26 amPraying for your father’s surgery and for his heart to soften to good soil, ready for seeds of life to sprout and grow in the gap left by cancer and surgery and fear . Praying he encounters Jesus and is broken on the Rock, giving redeemed life fully to God to serve fruitfully in coming seasons. Praying for God’s healing power to flow through surgery and treatments and all around this also through the Spirit of God. Praying for divine appointments.
