Please prayer that I will grow closer to God during this time.
Please pray that my husband would be the priest of our home, that he would be the leader as God has ordain it from before the foundation of the world.He hardly reads the Bible and pray and when ever I bring it up there’s always opposition. He has no problem sitting for hours and watching television and that breaks my heart.
I asked him just last night why he finds it ok to do so, he said he finds it more interesting my heart was broken.
Needless to say we’re having problems in our marriage.
My husband also has anger issues.We are both christians and serve in ministry.
Please pray for an awakening of my husbands spirit, that he would taste and see that the lord is good and sweeter than honey from honeycomb.
We need a breakthrough that can only come from heaven.
Please pray for us!

I hear this is my spirit. ” You are trying too hard , stop it and leave it in God’s hands, you cannot change a man , only God through the power of His Holy spirit can work on a man’s heart. Man has a will and God does not force him so rely on God and in the meantime seek first God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you – Math 6:33.; Through your ways your husband may change so cease from attempting to make him what you want him to be , instead let God work on you and your husband”
Hope that helps. Just know that God sees your heart and knows your desires , He loves you and is very faithful. Fear not and totally rely on him, for you can do nothing in your own strength.
Stay strong and during this season seek God like never before , know that you are in warfare so don’t forget God’s full armor daily. ( Ephe 6:10-18)
February 21, 2017 at 6:47 pmI will be praying for a renewal of love in your marriage, I pray that God reminds your husband of your beauty and service to him and that he would treat you like Jesus treats the church. I am praying that you get close to God and worship him and that your husband would see Jesus in you and be inspired not because you say anything too him because he sees you shine like our lord. February 26, 2017 at 5:07 pmI’m in almost the same situation, except my husband doesn’t even go to church. Sheila – your words were perfect for me. Thank you sister for sharing. I will pray for you my friend, and for your husband. God is good – He is faithful and will bring His peace to us as we “seek first His kingdom.” I’m a control freak, so leaving my husband in God’s (MORE than capable) hands is so difficult. But, we can do this – we can do ALL things, including being weak enough to leave it in God’s hands.

Know that being that you are a child of God , your family is under God’s covering thanks to you ! So do not give up on your dear husband, God works in very mysterious ways . You know the Bible says the last shall be the first and the first shall be the last so remember God is true to his word . Keep being the best wives you can be and know that one day that husband will draw near to Christ. Keep believing and trusting God that the Holy Spirit will minister to your husband.
