Abba: You set us in families. We are to learn to love each other as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her. I pray for the head of this family, that this person comes to know this role, and relies on You, Abba, to be the head of the household while submitting to You for the skills of holy leadership. I pray that all communication is more listening than speaking, more positive than negative, and that Your Word becomes a part of a family routine, even if it is a verse or two read in the morning or at dinner. I pray the parent(s) are role models of the faith for the children. If there are major issues involving addictions or violence that they seek help. I pray that each family member comes to know Jesus deeply and intimately. I pray each family member sees himself or herself as a beloved child of God, made in His image, with a plan and a calling on his/her life. Help them, Abba, for they are crying out to You out of their need. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Oh Lord, I lift up this fellow DAB believer for the family issues that they are experiencing, I ask for peace and wisdom and comfort as only You can provide, in Your precious name, Amen.
