Pray for my marriage

    I gave my life to the lord in 2010. But as of the last few months me and my husband made a commitment to start serving the lord as a couple. Since that commitment we have been faced with so much adversity as a couple. My husband keeps asking for a divorce, but my soul has no peace in that. He is becoming verbally and emotionally abusive and suffers from bipolar disorder. I love him and the lord has granted peace in me knowing this will be a great testimony for his glory for his family. But in the mean time I am struggling and I’m so exhausted with this seeming never ending battle. I am so tired of the fighting and threats to leave me to divorce me to cheat on me. I am emotionally drained and the enemy is using him as a weapon. Please be in agreement with me that this will end and soon

    I pray that you will truly understand what is triggering the way your husband is reacting . Seems that problem started after you both made a commitment to start serving the Lord as a couple? That is my understanding from your statement ( it is very sad that such bad events would get triggered by the desire for both of you to serve God).
    I pray that peace/ love / reconciliation and the spirit of truth will reign in your family. Please put on the full armor of God daily since we are in a spiritual warfare as believers ( Ephesians 6:10-18).

    I am praying for you. It sounds like there is definitely spiritual warfare going on. I know you’re tired but stay in the fight. You’re marriage is worth it. You and your husband are worth it. Do as Sheila said and put on your spiritual armor and also stay in His Word. You can do this.

    I pray that Jesus would provide a break through soon that he would break into the darkness, giving you strength to continue and stand strong. I pray that peace surrounds you and his light protects you.

    Father we claim victory!
    You are a child of a living powerful God. Immeasurably more much more than we can ask You Father can do for Your children.
    Not in our strength Father but Yours Father. Father as we stand for, in the gap for this family. Just as they did for Mosses we hold up her arms, standing with her, believing for Your will to be done Father. Come Holy Father bring life bring healing bring clarity. By Your stripes we are made whole set free. We thank You and know we serve a powerful working Lord!!! In Jesus name amen

    Does your husband know he has bipolar? Maybe he needs some medication. I pray that the Lord will heal what is broken and restore what is lost.
